So, I just bought a unlocked Verizon Xperia Play but I want to move it to CricKet. I asked cricket if there network would work well with Xperia Play and they said yes but Data might not work. Anyone have a R800x with cricket? As far as I know it should work since R800x works with EV-DO and CdmaONE which is also the same network as cricket. Some help please?

Make sure that your APN is set correctly. I also had this problem and it was just because I didn't set MMS APN correctly.
What's the T-Mobile APN settings?

While that may be correct, really has nothing to do with apn settings.
While I can't help you on the iPhone. To edit the e4gt apn settings try dialing ##data##. If you know your 6 digit spc/msl you can edit the apn settings in that menu.

Honestly it has been so long that I did that that I don't remember. I sold my epic touch like a year and a half ago.
But this thread should have all the info you need:

None of my voice command applications recognizes "Open APNs" as a proper command. Is there another way to access APNs on GB 2.3.6 with the People's ROM v 2.22 ?

I'm on Boost and did the ICS OTA as well. Lost mms partially. It does rarely work, maybe 10% of the time. Any ideas?
Dial ##data#, click edit, enter msl, click others, click mmsc url, and change it to mm.myboostmobile.com
If you dont know your msl code, search around a bit.. Theres a tutorial on here somewhere that explains how to get it usong alogcat.
Just a thought.

Ok guys download and install the anycut app on your phone, Not sure if you can still find it on Google play if not ive attached it here. Once installed Open it and select New shortcut, Activity then look for APNs. Select APNs and click OK. This will create a shortcut to your APNs on your homescreen. Open the APNs shortcut you just created and click on Sprint. Scroll down MMSC and make sure it says the mm.myboostmobile.com. Now select MMS proxy and delete the number that are in there. press your menu key and select Save. Now press your home key and maybe restart your phone (not sure if restart is required). You can choose to keep or delete the APNs shortcut when finished.
I have the Unlocked GSM Version of the Galaxy Nexus, rooted and running Codename Android v3.4.1 (4.1.1) and using the phone with Straight Talk AT&T. I've searched the forums and Googled frantically for days trying to get Google Wallet working. I've tried countless solutions but none have worked. Some people say that my APN settings aren't configured properly. Some peoples Google Wallet works fine on Straight Talk AT&T and some doesn't work. Has a solution been found for this issue? If so, can it please be shared with me?

I'm pretty sure your carrier doesn't matter much since the nexus 7 can use wallet.
It works fine on my ATT ST. What error are you getting?

Thanks for the reply.
That's the same thing I was thinking, that carrier doesn't matter. And the error that I'm getting is that whenever I'm using mobile data, my Google Prepaid Card says "Balance Unavailable" but whenever I'm WiFi, it shows my balance just fine.

Try removing the proxy server; <make sure it is 'Not set'>

Still does the same thing... All it says is- "balance unavailable" and for the ID it says- "can't contact bank".

Are you using the latest version available in the market - 1.5-R79-v5
The Google Play Store shows a new version but in-app shows Wallet up to date - 1.5-R75-v6
I guess I'll update and see how it goes.

Wow, well I've actually been doing some "research" and it seems its like an APN issue.
Do you mind sharing your APN settings with me?

Same Issue
I have the same issue.. I can send mms but I cannot received them. The APN I have are correct. Phone is currently rooted with stock rom. Even prior to root, I cannot receive any mms.. Help?
I figured it out and found a solution if people had the issue with it too. In the APN setting, change APN protocol from IPV6 to IPV4. I tried using a mixture of IPV6/IPV4 and couldn't received any MMS until I changed it back to IPV4 again.

You don't have to be rooted but you cannot edit the stock APN. You got to create a new one with the same APN settings and then change the APN protocol to IPV4. Hit save and text yourself a picture and see if it works. :fingers-crossed:
Can someone give me the APN settings to a d850 to send and receive MMS messages.
