Okay then, your device is stuck in fastboot mode. Assuming you have your drivers installed and configured properly, you should be able to (using the command line) change the bootmode to recovery (5001) or normal (4000) and reboot.

Hey Biggoron, I've had success holding the 2 button and power. Give that a shot and see if that works for ya!
Try typing "d-o-w-n-l-o-a-d-m-o-d-e" while holding the power and camera buttons, that always seems to do it for me

But how do i do that? the screen itself is unresponsive
Can you get to odin mode? Use one of sfhubs GB one clicks?
That way when you plug the usb in, you wont be prompted to change mtp settings. And you'll have access to the internal storage.

You can use an app 'Triangle Away'
it will remove that mark and reset your flash counter..

Hi,
Thanks. Samsung had formatted the phone once for me to try resolve some software issue. Maybe that trigger the counter to 1.

During my latest factory resort I did the whole pus volume up + home + power sequence. When I got to theme boot screen I had all the usual stuff but I noticed that at the bottom was the green android guy laying down with his chest open and a red exclamation mark coming out of it. Is this normal?

if you are planning to root your phone, i'd suggest get TWRP recovery instead of CWM, a lot more friendly to use.
Yeah. Soooo many things to choose from now lol

Make sure it has a satisfying click when pressed. If yes than I'm wrong. If not than try pressing it a couple times or spraying compressed air at it.
