You can use an app 'Triangle Away'
it will remove that mark and reset your flash counter..
Hit thanks now
Hi,
Thanks. Samsung had formatted the phone once for me to try resolve some software issue. Maybe that trigger the counter to 1.

I rooted my epic 4g touch and now i need to return it to complete stock because i need to send it to sprint because of a faulty USB port
but it's rooted and on CM9
how would i go into going back to stock EL29 without losing personal Data?
also everytime i turn the phone on the yellow triangle is present and I'm sure sprint will know if that's still there so i need to remove it.
Thanks
You use the search bar and learn how Odin 1 clicks, titanium backup, and triangle away work...!

use odin onclick el29 no data. but before you do that flash to an TW ICS Rom and use triangle away (market or XDA) that will reset your binary counter and get rid of ugly yellow triangle. after that you should be good to go. stock el29, no triangle and not rooted.
I said the same thing in outline form...

Does it happen every time or just now and then?
Because I never had this issue myself.
Out of curiosity what region or country is your phone software

During my latest factory resort I did the whole pus volume up + home + power sequence. When I got to theme boot screen I had all the usual stuff but I noticed that at the bottom was the green android guy laying down with his chest open and a red exclamation mark coming out of it. Is this normal?

if you are planning to root your phone, i'd suggest get TWRP recovery instead of CWM, a lot more friendly to use.
Yeah. Soooo many things to choose from now lol

Okay then, your device is stuck in fastboot mode. Assuming you have your drivers installed and configured properly, you should be able to (using the command line) change the bootmode to recovery (5001) or normal (4000) and reboot.

It's hard to say with the picture you provided. Try booting into safe mode and see if you get it, if you don't then its an app you installed.
How do you boot into safe mode?

Should be how to do it.
If it's not there it's one of your installed apps, I would try clicking on the notification, does it open anything? It should open the app or something, if it dont then long press the notification and then tap "app info" it should take you the application manager and bring up the app that is displaying that notification.
