No, it means that unlocking your phone (when it's SIM locked to one carrier) is illegal (but only in USA )

Not if his phone says Bootloader Unlock: No. Only option is to pay.
Paying the $24 is what is required to run the program necessary to unlock your phone. The guy unlocking it for you makes no profit from it. Is it really that unreasonable?
No that dont work my bootloader says no. An do you really think it costs that much to run a bit of software there will be a free way and ehen i find it will post in here
About it
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
In the entire year that this phone has been out, the aforementioned unlock method has been the only way. If you think you can find another way, good luck, and godspeed. You'll be back, or you won't have an unlocked phone.
I have the same problem on my XPlay :/ I can't get into fastboot.
How anoying is it lol people keep saying it cant be done for free
But i think dif just gotta find a way if i do will pm you on here dude

And why would that be?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Because it requires an update.
What's the problem with update anyway?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Wait - we have that already, right? I mean from the page I saw, I already have all of those features in my N2. So no need for an update then? Or is it an enhancement?

No it was probably for people who are on the original note 2 firmware. They didn't had these features back then.

Hi guys i came across an app that proposes to unlock our bootloaders, it's from Kingo, the same guys that made the Rooting plain simple to most phones.
Does anyone knows if the bootloader can be unlocked this way?
Cheers

I know that had been some issues with kingo appsand the reasons to void using it. But this is a forum and shouldn't we discuss the advantages or disadvantages of the software?
If you know the security risk is up to you using it or not.
There are lots of apps accessing to much info on our phones and we still use them
I only wanted to know if finally someone had cracked a way to unlock our Xperias.
Cheers
BootLoader Unlock
I had applied for Unlock BootLoader many times but it's not happening on my Xperia acro s LT26W
