Hello Everyone ! As we all know that MC4 Lags a lot on our device but i have found a way to run it without any lag ! Thanks to Thunder07 and hamdir for their mods !
Requirement
Java
.Net Framework 3.5(Only need this if you get .NET framework initialization error)
System.Xml.Linq.DLL (This should be part of .Net 3.5)
Ionic.Zip.DLL (This is embedded in the exe itself)
^^While the 2 DLL are essential you SHOULDN'T need to download them, unless you're getting an error regarding missing "Blah assembly" or something to that extent^^
^^If you needed to download the DLLs place them in the same folder as the exe^^

Android Theme Converter (now with less themes) UPDATE 6(day)-5-09

hi
i made a bash script (linux only)! that converts a RC33(old) Theme into a ADP1.1(old) Theme
use it as a nautilus script !
it unpacks the standard ADP1.1 theme (which is needed)
then it basically unpacks the theme and and every app in it ...
and copy's the :
-res/drawable
-res/drawable-finger
-res/drawable-port
-res/drawable-land
-res/drawable-land-finger
...folder into the standard theme
then it packs it all and sings everything
actually it does that one by one ^^
it works ...!
but that can easily be changed
the version here is a beta ... i will add the ability to convert to RC9
and clean it up
############ Update
version 0.8.3
-no with error messages (doesn't cover everything)
pre 0.8.3
-now you can choose the desired version and source version!
from: ADP1.1, RC33, RC9
to: ADP1.1, RC33, RC9
-framework is not copyed as a whole any more insted only the res folder
-bug with slider/tab thingy solved
note: i can not validate the RC33 or RC9 themes

i am not the creator of these themes!
hail to the creator!
if you are the creator of one of these themes and don't want it to be here tell me!
i will take them of and delete the file from the hoster!

Hey bud, would you be able to do any conversions? Can't speak for anybody else, but I don't have a system with Linux on it.

if not i can easily copy them to .. are all necessary or just special ones?
if they look different what makes them ... maybe i can change that in the script to

i'll make one where u can choose the desired version !!UPDATE!! : it is done! see the first post
stay tuned ^^
wow! i didn't even know it could be done that simply, now when i release my next theme i can release it as ADP and RC version. also since no one seems to care about the RC8&9 try to make a script that converts to RC9 as well. i haven't even looked at RC9 so i am not sure what is needed but since you were able to write this script you should be able to do that. i'll be using your script with my next release(don't worry i will give you credit)

Fantastic!! thanks for this. I am wanting to change over to RC33 due to market issues but would love to take me favourite theme with me
how do u use this??
Nice one, i was looking into making one but didnt know enough about bin/bash coding. Power to linux!!
Chris
confused as hell sounds interesting though....with this are we able to use themes on unrooted phones now?
When will the converted theme's be up here in this thread?
Almost at the point of going to RC33, because a lot of good theme's are not ADP 1.1h compatible
If you use this AndroidMod.zip, pls remove "SignApk\" from this three files:
signapk.jar
testkey.pk8
testkey.x509.pem
else it will not work
Good work lad1337
I cant believe I didnt see this thread earlier! It wont copy xml edits and such but it will get the main stuff, I love it, thank you so much! I knew the virtual linux install would be useful again. lol
are the xml edits different for rc33 and adp? ie. you can't just manually copy them across?

i am working on the xml though ..
and a "config dialog"
and maybe on a theme merge!

ok ... .. the singing part works (otherwise there wouldn't be anything ) which means
the temp2 folder is empty .. which means ...the the default theme isn't unpacked .. ...you can use the script also in the shell just pas the theme to convert as the first argument .. what fails?
and you can also comment out :
rm -r temp1
rm -r temp2
should be somewhere at the end ..
what is in the temp2 and temp1 folder ..?
ps how is 9.04 beta ..waiting for the final .. i'm on 8.10

Attempting to convert RC33 themes to RC9,
I've setup a VM running Ubuntu 8.10 and installed Java. The script runs fine and chucks out the zip. I rename it update.zip and copy it to my SD Card, however when I try to flash it, it fails the verification and throws this error:
wrong digest app/Sync.apk
Verification Failed.
Any ideas? Really want to get the BUUF darkbrown theme working

[Q] editing/modifying .apk file

anyone who know how to edit or modifying the framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk?? please....... give me an idea what should i do & i nid?? i want to modify a rom on to fit my brother style..
download sdk manager and then apk tool from google webiste... after this use ADB to get those framework files on ur computer then simply go in apk tool and decompile them... after that you can make any changes u want in it... after fiddling wid it recompile it usin any tool u r comfortable wid n den push it in ur cell
A lot easier will be to use apk manager.
Visit here http://apkmultitool.com/
Go to download section and download apk manager
Don't download apk multi tool as I think it has some bugs.
Extract... there will be folders describing what they are for.
put you apk in (put_apk_for_modding) folder
*some what like that I don't remember the exact folder name
Run script.bat you will see a cmd window having options to compile decompile...
1st select project using 22 option
Then decompile with option 9
Go to project folder find your project do necessary modification and then compile using option 11
Remember The option numbers may differ so check.
*Before that you must have java jdk 1.6 installed

z2 theme manager

:fingers-crossed:
all credit goes to @Ben Ling for providing Z2 file
screens
installation
eazy pizzy
1) if you have super user mod then just install app as normal apk
2) go to theme manager and check the change
or
push file to system/app with correct permissions and from the same folder hit pested apk and install (suggested by @Ashwin Prabhunerurkar)
Note: to have super user mod you can user either lucky patcher (using that tool go to tool box and patch android and remove sign verificaiton)
or download seeraj's xposed module and get it done
all the best

Sign apk with Platform keys no need to Unlock SuperUserMOD in jar

Here is the way to sign your apk with system platform...
Jar modification bye bye for Cyanogen Users... Hahahaha...
Method
1) Unzip and put apk were data uncompressed...
2) rename it to k.apk
3) and run script...
Password :android
zip Attached
enjoy... signed apk only for CM12 and CM12.1.1 , my AOSP uses Cm12.1.1 platformkeys
so it work on rom that build with cm12 or cm12.1.1 keys

Why it's protected with a password ?
Plus, it's should be posted on Android Themes/General forums not Xperia specif forums.

Sir,
signing apk can done without password with keystore ? I don't think so..
I not put password , its a basic manual method to sign apk with platform keys
(keystore)A Java KeyStore (JKS) is a repository of security certificates – either authorization certificates or public key certificates – used for instance in SSL encryption.
I thought , 70% of Xperia apk works by signing them with Platform key ... So I posted
and I never open xda's other forms
I only open Sony Cross-Device General and Sony Cross-Device Development Themes and Apps , hahahaha

ZipSigner.apk is phone based I also have apksign.apk , but my phone take too much time to sign 14 Megabyte file , my phone is too slow
so i used to be sign apk on my mac
Nice tutorial, but I'll stick with replacing the testkeys in Apktool with the custom ones I currently need.
Just keep in mind that apps signed with platform keys cannot be installed normally. They gotta be pushed directly to system to work.
Just mentioning.

Make sure you have jdk installed first.
If so then make sure you use the right path for it, maybe you have different version of jdk installed. As for me my jdk bin folder as follows:
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_60\bin"
because I have jdk version 1.8.0_60 installed.
