[Q] Brick!?

Hey,
I installed Creed's ROM and after that i updated the software.
But when in rebooted only Samsung Galaxy Y Pro shows up.
What can I do about it

Friend if you installed this on a Galaxy Y Pro then you have certainly "soft" bricked your phone. You will need to reinstall your stock firmware to get it working again. Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro are two completely different phones!!

my phone is galaxy s5360 y
i have same problem!
and
i try to flash with odin but pause on BcmBoot.img in dialogbox!
pleas help me!

I had the same one day before you and starting odin in admin mode solved this problem for me and also tried another usb port.

and when you don't mean a pro but just our device then wipe data and cache and reboot system

actually if you have a custom ROM like creeds NEVER UPDATE SOFTWARE, cuz it will softbrick the phone due to the fact that the files are modified from the official firmware, doing so will cause either bootloops or splash stuck,
only solution would be to reflash via odin

But if I do Home Power + Volume Up it shows nothing

Found something intresting...
I can go in Download mode for Odin but I don't have the PIT file and the other files if you know were to get them please leave a comment

Okay I did'nt but do you know were to get the official files for the GT-B5510 (For The Netherlands) for Odin?

sorry but i have no idea bro, i am using a GT-S5360
ps: don't try to install custom roms for GT-S5360 to your pro because by that you can also soft brick your phone

if you can go to download mode(volume down+center key+power key) then u can easily revive your phn by flashing a new stock roms
here is the link to all stock roms

dont forget to clear cashe and data

Ur phone may brick ...... Try wipe data ...if not working then flash stock rom .......

That's simple. Remove battery then boot into Recovery (Vol UP+ Home Button + Power Button) then wipe cache and wipe data/factory reset. If that doesn't work, flash it again into Stock ROM using Doky's zips and flash using Odin in download mode.

in the Odin mode, my computer cannot read the Galaxy Y, it's bricked

i dont know how to Flash it, my computer cannot read my galaxy Y from USB (on Odin Mode of course)

For galaxy y's sake don't open new threads

Install kies in ur computer and visit doky73 or my threat (check my sig) for how to flash ........... If any problem i post image tutorial for u ......... BTW 1st install usb driver and kies (for driver) in up pc and detact ur device found or u most download mode always flash thr odin..................

when i Connect my devise with kies told my there is a new update
and compllate the step ( update step)
it freezes 99% in download mode

Try USB/Bluetooth/WLAN connection. Also wait when it freezes.

There are two solutions.
1. Use wifi to updates
2. Download update on this forum (under android development) for the region latest ROM. Flash using ODIN.

I think it's takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on your PC performance.
And you know, i think you should read ALL Stickies thread in this GT-I8150 forum before you asking for the kind of basic knowledge link like that

did u use stock samsung battery?
because i had this problem before due to china battery .
u cant do anything juz send it to sammy.

Download mode still accessible right? Then flash the stock rom from the odin and you will just be fine.
As long as the download mode is still accessible don't panic because there is still a big chance your phone can back to normal

Just follow the how to flash stock rom using ODIN guide. It is correct if you follow it precisely. Just try it

You won't even know if you don't try right? Try first. If it's still soft brick there are many developers and users here that are more senior than me you can request help from them.
After all this is a forum. Anybody can help anybody. So don't be afraid to try and ask.
I was like you when first time helding android. But after some experience and some asking you will all know it by yourself. If you don't try you will never can know the result man.

i followed the steps here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21875819 and downloaded the *I8150ZSKI3 Android 2.3.6 (ASIA)* but the result still the same T.T any other ways?

umm..i cant go to recovery..cant wipe data ><

Try doing this
If you flashed the stock ROM correctly , now you should to flash CWM by arco via odin
this is the thread:
[RECOVERY] ClockworkMod v6.0.1.9
How to flash CWM
1- click on the OPS-Button and select the Ancora.ops file.
2- Click on the One Package-Button and select the downloaded MD5-file.
notes: mark the option: One Package, Protect OPS, Auto Reboot
unmark the option: Reset Time (Sec)
then try to get into CWM to (((wipe data/reset)))
I tested it when I was on boot loop and worked

No, I had a Boot animation loops..and I couldnt go to recovery
