Hi everyone!
I have an Arc S:
- blocked BL
- rooted
- flashed with Xperia_AniKing_v1.0.0_Ice Cream
- baseband: -58
I was watching the official video of the ICS alpha version and I noticed that the camera didn't work like mine.
There are two images from youtube, the Exmor R sensor works very well, in other hand, I can't get any resolution in a room with low ilumination.

Did I lost something during the flash?
No
Exmor R sensor is hardware related, not dependent on the software. So don't worry you didn't lose Exmor R capabilities.
But you will lose Bravia Engine and xLoud beacause they are software related.
You don't lose Bravia and xLoud!

Not in this ROM but ROMs like cyanogenmod don't have Bravia or xLoud.
I have the Bravia engine and xLoud installed.
But it seems that the exmor sensor doesn't work very well. I have to do a comparation with other terminals.

Are you using the Auto mode or manual settings? Try the manual settings you can produce better results.
I was using AutoScene.
I just did a photo with manual setings (+2 exposure) and it's not bad...
I just wanted to know Does mobile bravia engine really make a difference in the nexus screen while watching pics or video ?
any picture comparison or videos for the same ?
Also can someone please make maybe a zip file for the same ? because i dont want to flash a whole rom just to check one feature
Thanks in advance.

Nope, it will make next to 0 difference. GadgetCheck ported it to the Galaxy SII and no difference was made. With a SuperAmoled HD screen it will make no different either. The Bravia Engine was made for a low spec screen. Hence why Sony made it. Burned.
How to port xLoud and Bravia Engine to ICS 4.0.3 up, and where download file.
Thank.
Please help me.

Both of those are from the the Sony Xperia Arc and maybe a few other 2011 Sony Ericsson devices. Unless you run across someone here that's a developer and has moved over to the GN from SE, you'll probally be better off asking in a form like the Xperia X10 that has had both xLoud and Bravia ported to it.
Even when the Bravia engine was ported to the Xperia X10, it only worked for viewing pictures in the stock gallery app and xLoud, even though it increased the external speaker volume, was the cause of many blown external speakers.
Hey, there. I've seen this thread, which is about a port of Bravia Engine and XLoud Engine for the Galaxy S2.

I'm no dev, but, how about a port for the Captivate Glide?
or bravia engine works perfectly on xperia play?
If so, please leave him a link

This has been around for a very long time. Not to sound like an a$$ but a simple google search of:
xda xperia play bravia engine
results in this first hit:

Bravia engine does work, but mostly only for viewing photos on the phone, other then that there isnt much need for it.
Enjoy.

You know, I would say for our play, it really didn't even do anything, It was nice to see it in the display settings on stock roms but other then that..

Yeah, after a few months I just removed it entirely, never used it after that.
