I have tried with few roms, but every time it just doesn't go past that screen where is written the name of the rom. I have a hellboy kernel..
Can somebody please tell me if I could fix it and how?

what version of one v do you have? GSM or CDMA? (I'm assuming GSM if you have hellboy kernel)

What rom are you using ?

I'm about to choose a custom ROM to install on my One X.
It will either be InsertCoin or ARHD. But I can't really find the differences between them. Both seems very robust.
Could anyone tell me why to install X instead of Y?

Its about prrsonal prefences. If you cant find any difference just go with the one currently installed.

Try both and choose the best for you. I'm using ARHD. In my opinion the best rom :thumbup:

currently I am on stock with faux kernel
But if there aren't any major differences I think I'll go with ARHD since it seems more active (only little though hehe).

Probably not since htc has never released an official 2.3 base for the One x. I also dont think anybody would want to port CM7 to the One x. Why Do you want it anyway?

hello every body,
that is my first post in this great forum , i need your help for my wildfire GPS, after i flashed X5 aurora B room my GPS worked down and no icon appears on status bar , i tried all methods kernels,google pocket updates and GPS patches exist in "developments department" but nothing help , but when i flashed RUU original room every thing is working , when i back to any other room this matter repeated every time i flash a new room.
i am so sorry about my bad English.

Common issue. Backup your current Rom ( non sense)
Then install a sense Rom.
Get a steady gps lock and the boot straight into recovery and restore your non sense Rom.

i bucked up my non sense rom by room manager , then i re flashed RUU sense rom , every thing is working fine (i mean GPS) , then i rebooted with CM 4 , i pushed restore buck up then rebooted but i got stuck into RUU logo
what i can do now?
shall i wipe all data and re flash my non sense rom or what?!
after ubdate CWM to v.5 , all buck up restored successfully ,finally my GPS is working very fine now :laugh:,

in last hours i have test port a JB4.2.2. rom from HTC DesireS to HOV. i become it not to boot. :crying:
Is this a kernel problem?
The Hardware are the same: MSM8255 ARMv7 1 GHz Adreno 205 Dual-channel 333 MHz LPDDR2 GSM
Ever, there is a chance as Dau one DesireS Rom on HOV get to run? Or do I have to be an experienced developer to do that.

That is probably also the reason why the HOV here at the Devs get so little attention?
For other devices there is much more, for example, Galaxy Wonder, its just a shame the display and speakers are so bad and the light sensor is missing. (-:

In dat case, i think its kernel problm.... Try max's 4.2 hellboy kernel... It works quite well with 4.2.2 roms(at least, it allows u to boot...)
I have used max's 4.2 hellboy kernel. Now I practice times on another device without hboot. :angel:
hope you've asked permission from the person your porting from and the person your using the rom to bring it to the one v of

asked permission come when I should have a successful experience. Yet it does not look as it would be necessary.
PS: Port so same baseversion is no problem. but without a base i become no boot.
You should message InYourFace, as he was porting these roms successfully from that thread.
