-BACKUP EVERYTHING INCLUDING EFS

-The recommended installation is the following:
1. (If you are still on a 4.3 bootloader) ODIN Flash a KIt Kat Bootloader (even the I9505XXUFNAD bootloader will do)
2. ODIN Flash the I9505XXUFNC9 Modem.bin (for old bootloader) and non-hlos.bin (for new bootloader)
3. Use a Custom Recovery
4. Make a clean wipe
5. Flash Echoe Rom v20 via Recovery
-ADDITIONAL NOTES:
FOR USERS ALREADY ON NEW B/L: You only need the I9505XXUFNC9 Modem and you can use any kernel offered in Aroma (stock, stock repacked or customs)

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Backup
2. Use a Custom Recovery
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!
5. Reboot and Enjoy
6. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following:
Using Root Explorer or an analogous app go to data >property>persist.radio.lteon.xml open the file in Text Editor and change the value to true. Save and Exit and Reboot

my main man @ausdim just released the newest version of his kernel (v11) I will test it for a day or so and then release an updated version with the new kernel as default v.11 btw gives the ability for OC and UC the CPU and GPU :good: :good:

It is thx to its Developer Not even one bug with this kernel, not only on this TW Rom but with any Rom i have tried sonce ausdim released it...
Also, any benchmark scores I have posted are with stock settings (you couldnt OC v7's CPU, only GPU but didnt touch anything).
Quadrant came at 12466.... Attaching screenshot...

I am getting close . . . I think. Got the SystemUi.apk torn all the way down. I see where it is calling the tetherprevision.apk up. I just need to figure out how to either make the systemUI.apk or tetherprevision.apk to not communicate with t-mobile. More or less like how we block ads, by making it bounce back to the phone's IP address. Also if I can just get it to not check at all would be the easiest. Sammy got smart and tethering will not work at all without the tetherprevision.apk. Tried deleting it and and get nothing but force closures when I tried to tether...

Im sure you will do it. I have no clue on this stuff. I know ICS amd CM10 work fine, but I really want to use this.

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP
2. Download Echoe Rom and make sure the md5 matches
3. Download the AT&T or T-Mobile kernel of your choice
4. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
5. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!
6. Flash the AT&T or T-Mobile Kernel of your choice.
7. Reboot and Enjoy
8. Once 1st setup is done, check your APN to make sure you have the AT&T LTE APN.

Don't want to steal friedrich420's thunder but if you use a file explorer such as ES File Explorer and go to system; build.prop; and edit all you have to do is change the model number from GT-I9505 to SGH-I337 and the ro.product.name=jfltexx to jflteatt and the
ro.product.device=jflte to jflteatt
Save the changes and reboot and you will have the device name as SGHI337 and the 4G lte symbols in the status bar will be a att symbols.

Known issues:
- S5 S-Voice don't work --> Fix in OTA.
- If you install NO stock S4 system app, it's possible that some Samsung features don't work;
- Alarm widget work only with stock S4 Acuuweather widget. Don't work with S5 Accuweather widget;
- With the S5 Calendar, Facebook sync don't work--> You have to download this fix and to install it like a normal app.
- Home key and Settings button in statusbar don't work with S5 Ultra Pack --> Initially, you have to use the device with S5 TouchWiz. After this, you can install or use another alternative launcher.

Xposed
For the framework:
Launch the Xposed Installer from Settings>My Device>Imperium Settings>Xposed Menu and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot
For any modifications/modules you want to install:
Download every module.apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer from Settings>My Device>Imperium Settings>Xposed Menu, go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
Enable the module by checking the checkbox
Reboot

Yes. But only with stock Samsung app. If you install any porting (AOSP, ...), it's possible that some air gestures don't work....

You can flash with your actual modem , i have the same modem NB8 since version 1.0
Well, I've flashed it and had it going for a couple of hours now and it all seems great so far. Not tried everything but done all my usual things like installing and setting up my apps. Checking emails and Facebook etc. Played a couple of games and downloaded a few things over wifi and not one problem yet.
I also must add, I know it seems silly but that was the best aroma installer experience I've had, and I've flashed a lot of roms lol. Nice clear instructions for people who may not have used it before and a good choice of settings / selections / apps to choose to install / not install.
So overall, I'm very impressed so far. Really nice and smooth, fast responses and a great looking interface. I'm using the Xperia settings for launcher and the roboto font and it all looks great.

Checking emails and Facebook etc. Played a couple of games and downloaded a few things over wifi and not one problem yet.
I also must add, I know it seems silly but that was the best aroma installer experience I've had, and I've flashed a lot of roms lol. Nice clear instructions for people who may not have used it before and a good choice of settings / selections / apps to choose to install / not install.
So overall, I'm very impressed so far. Really nice and smooth, fast responses and a great looking interface. I'm using the Xperia settings for launcher and the roboto font and it all looks great.

Can you try to set a wallpaper for lockscreen, by holding your finger on homescreen. It crashes for me.

Reboot into recovery. (custom recovery like Touchphilz, CWM or TWRP or any other)
Clean install is compulsory as the base is changed to HOH2, dont report bugs w/o clean install

Wipe Cache (Must)

Wipe Dalvik Cache (Must)
Wipe internal storage i.e Wipe user media (Highly recommended if coming from another rom)

Q): What is Doze Feature ?

so far this is the best rom I ever tested on i9500, its simply great, if wanamlike features comes using xposed that will be perfect. a great effort and i give 10/10 ROM, most of issues normally comes up with people mistakes, upgrading is probably but if you know how to deal with that than nothing is impossible, otherwise clean installation with wiped internal sd card ... everything works smoothly and fine. for google apps issue, just remove google services and play store and install latest. this rom is really battery friendly so if you use any crap battery tools ... that will be your fault if battery drains.

1) Please keep toggles bar as stock and option for users to customize on their own.
2) Please port S6 contacts & dialer as well. I see Note4 dialer only and yes if possible fullscreen InCallUI as well.

Well, Phoenix Rom already exits (For version 4.3 i guess for i9500 and 4.4 for i9505)
I think you should consider renaming the Rom..

Its 5.0.x and first for i9500 , and i think i were the first to use it i really like the name i dont want to change it ,only if i have to..
