Are there any 4.1.2 or newer roms with LTE? Just got LTE on Tmobile in my neck of the woods. TMO. says I have to update to 4.1.2 to get it. Tried a couple roms and so far no LTE.

Do you have the T999L? (which should already be 4.1.2) Otherwise you will never get LTE.
Dude we already answered this for you. You have the T999, Not the LTE capable T999L, right?
Its not gonna happen no matter how many roms you flash. They have nothing to do with your actual connection anyway. Thats what the modems are for.

I was not looking for the speeds just the toggle that I mentioned earlier. Found what I was looking for any ways thanks for criticizing and not helping in the least.

Don't see where I criticized you, unless youre talking about where I pointed out that we had already answered your question.
Glad you found what you wanted, but you didn't ever mention anything about toggles. You seemed like you were only looking for a rom that would enable lte on your phone. My answers were meant to inform and help, but your choosing to ignore them is no reason to conclude I wasn't helping.
Good luck in your endeavors.

Get all radios HERE
Mirror'd in this post in the General Section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639771
NOTE: these are the radios i have TESTED this is why i don't have every radio available up here because i have not tested them to be working to some degree. Others are welcome to post and contribute what they have tested working as well.
Thanks you so much for this. You have done so much for this community and I thank you.

In any way the SGH-T989 Series radio is better than stock ?
Or is it the actual stock radio
Awesome! Thank you so much for this Mr.X.
Tmo VK1 is the latest one to enable wifi calling right?
Very nice thank you, this should really be in the Dev section.... To important to be in General imo.
Also might i suggest MD5 check sums in the OP.

I'm not sure fi wifi calling requires the tmobile modem, so it's really up to you guys to test and report in. What i can tell you is these modems will not damage your device.
they all work for me on telus (with exception of the DoMoCo one, since have no networks it supports here) However using the tmobile and rogers radio cut my HSPA+ speeds down to HSPA as the radios appear not to support dual channeling of HSPA on 850/1900 like telus needs.
for some reason it wont install on CM7 i have tried CWM and ROMmanager, no go on either, its the Tmobile vk1 radio

Diffrent radios might increase reception in some areas, increase download speeds and might improve battery life or they can do the opposite and be detrimental to recepition, download speeds and battery.... Users results may vary. Flash and test for your self.

How sure are we that flashing modems through cwm is 100% safe? I know on a lot of other phones that while it is possible, its said that it is not safe. Correct me if I'm wrong but I just wanna be sure.

Generally fastboot is the safest method because of the bit check before flashing but I run the G2/ HTC Vision radio thread and as long as the MD5 matches it pretty safe, out of over 10000 downloads of my G2 flashable radio zips I think ive only seen 1 brick but even that one couldnt 100 percent be connected to the flashable zip so in general I thinks its very safe.

Hello everyone. I am curious to know if anybody with a c spire galaxy sIII tried root theirs using the sprint method? I know the phone has just arrived on cspire and hasn't been out a good week but since c spire's gs3 and sprint's version is of similar variant(sprint sph-l710, cspire sch-710), I was wondering if they would be compatible. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but there isn't a main section for cspire and also thank you for your time.

Root method worked out fine for me too. As far as Roms. I tried the paranoidandroid rom and it worked fine didn't get to test the network. I don't believe the TW Roms will work properly as they are based on sprint updates. But cm, aosp, and aokp based Roms should work fine.

I have tried both cm10 and paranoidandroid and neither have working data. of course i am in an area which does not have 4g yet so it might only be an issue with 3g or the prl is not updating with a *228

I just posted this in the other thread but I thought I would post it here just so everyone is on the same page between the two.
Okay. First of all, I didn't think to look at the PRL before I went and flashed the Sprint CM10. But now it says 20005. I restored my nandroid backup and pulled this PRL from my phone with QPST 2.7.374. In DFS Tool, I noticed there was a CSpire PRL 10009. I wrote this PRL to the Phone and am getting much better service on the stock TW ROM.
HOWEVER, I flashed the Sprint CM10 again and the same thing happened. It says PRL 10009, but there is little to no service and when it does have a little service, it is very flaky and eventually ends up with no data connection at all. Any more suggestions or ideas?

I followed these instructions found in the Android Development subforum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoEVDgjTTdg&feature=youtu.be
I took my GS3 by CS yesterday for the upgrade they sent the text out about. Check my PRL this morning and mine says 20005; not sure what it was before they made changes last night.

Ya cspire specs seem to be "meh" everywhere. Like no site saw it coming or something. That being said i havent gotten any comfirmation on the 4g in the other threads. I would assume yes based on what i saw going thru the cspire stock rom. There's actually a few spots where sprint is referenced in the stock rom. And if you restore the cspire nandroid to a sprint phone **** works beautifully. So between that and the lack of complaints, i would say it seems like chances are pretty good

I'm looking for the best radio. I have the T-mo S3 currently running PAKangs 1.40 rom (4.1.2). Reception in my area isn't that great especially in certain spots. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Your best bet is to try different ones and see which works best for you. Different people have different results depending on the area they are in, in fact some people go so far as to keep different radios on their SD for when they plan to be in another area for a while.

There is a sticky thread in dev for modems.
But the latest one isn't in the op. So go to the last page and work backwards until you find a link. I think I posted it in there.
In case people here do not check the i9505 forums. I followed these steps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2360346
to fix a soft bricked i9505g on my M919 Tmobile Galaxy S4. Everything worked perfectly even though odin/download mode had lots of errors showing on the s4's screen.
Google wallet activated, LTE, wifi. So far I cannot find anything wrong.
Partitions are still the same as the original phone so there should be no reason you cant use odin to return to stock.
I take no responsibility if you do this and something gets hosed but its working great for me. If you want stock google but dont want to deal with peoples custom roms this may be the way to go.
You my friend are a bloody reckless, and absolutely brilliant Sir! I might give this a try. Waiting for a bit more feedback, but well played! :highfive:

It'll fail. Google OTA's have historically included bootloaders and modem updates. As a result, those won't be able to be flashed for the same reason they can't be flashed in Odin (sig mismatch).
