I am requesting that polls in threads should be made editable just like posts are editable. Right now I posted a thread in which I made poll to see which ROM is the most popular and I guess I forgot some roms so people gave me suggestions to place their rom in the poll, and I can't because I can't edit the poll. I also would like the poll to be editable so that I can add roms that are new or that I forgot. I would just like the poll to be editable in a way that I can add or delete options. Well, thank you for your time and for taking my request into consideration, I hope to hear from u soon.

Big +1 on that
On a side note why are you using the dream? (nice phone still)

It's a limitation of vBulletin. Even moderators have limited access to amend polls. If you need a new option, or a poll closing, that's possible, just PM a Senior Mod.
If you want a poll resetting that needs an admin. Either PM a Senior Mod and they'll add it to an Admin's TODO list, or PM mikechannon / egzthunder1 - but the admins do have quite busy workloads .
Thanks
Dave

A big fat '+1' from me, if it's possible.
I'd like to see that as well. +1
I posted a new thread earlier asking advice on how to get my money back from some criminally acting devs of the game app "Bakery Story " and my thread was removed, why are mods encouraging criminal behavior or are they in league with these app devs and doesn't want people to know the truth about these loopholes. Also this is general section and I see a lot of questions being asked here, on a last note isn't xda about enlightenment and education to the users? .

Perhaps you presented your inquiries in a slanderous manner, based on your approach this time around Id bet that that was the case. Xda is a developers community and without proof or first addressing the developer, attacking them is really no way to initially present yourself.

Well, what exactly occurred? I know you explained it once but some of the mods have a rather cavalier attitude and it sounds as though it's be suitable for this section.

Please contact via PM to the Moderator who apparently deleted your thread, sure there will be a reason.
nerogold, you currently have 2 threads, one in off-topic and one in the thunderbold section.
I can't see that either of these were ever deleted.
Not sure if this has been suggested before, but a dev podcast would be great...the Android podcasts out there now, are pretty much unlistenable due to crappy audio quality and and boring content. I think it would be cool for diff. dev. teams to talk hacking, rom-ing, theming and addressing issues and new technology. For example... have the guys from Team Nocturnal on to discuss their roms with special guests like kernel devs and themers on. It would be a great way for these dev. teams to get some money by selling advertising and doing something they do on here for free anyway... Maybe the website could even finance and advertise these, get them out there and drive even more traffic to the site. Ask those interested for show demos and maybe pick the best for each carrier and discuss their phones exclusively. Just a thought, maybe an hour or two a week to keep their minions up to date and answer the best questions on air. I would listen and download and support such a project. If you would too, let xda hear your voice. Let them know your feelings and ideas below!

I couldnt agree more , I googled for XDA Podacast and your thread showed up ...
Some of the podcasts are ok (Engadget,Verge) but im looking for something more along the ROM flashing variety as well ...
Will point the admin in this direction. Thanks for your suggestion
We have a podcast in the pipeline Look for it in Q1 next year
Holy S! Thread is resurrected! With ICS dropping on a lot of phones around then, that is perfect timing. Thank you thank you thank you! When this happens we need people to pump this on their Twitter and Facebook accounts and get the word out in the threads....huge leap for XDA, this should be commended and supported by all the Android freaks out there! Props!

We have sections for a reason; it keeps things clean and organized. General topics belong in general, questions (like this) belong in Q&A, etc. I have politely reminded you at least 3 times to refrain from posting in the wrong section. Additionally, XDA is not a support site, and requires a fair amount of research and effort, if you're going to start flashing, rooting, modding. Most of your posts are question/help based in nature. If you're asking that many questions in a relatively short period of time, its because you're not doing the research.
With that said, I highly recommend that you start following the rules pertaining to posting threads. Post in the appropriate sections, make sure you read, read, then read some more, before posting your help threads.
Failure to comply with the rules will lead to infractions, and/or a ban, depending on severity.

It took a long time with requests to make the app better, asking for updates and new functions and so on before I finally asked JB media to send me my money back today.
I bought the Premium App in January last year because I wanted to donate my most preferred android development site. Sad to see that they don't care about the thoughts and opinions of their users and did not even update the app for over a year!
There would be so much that needs to be fixed but nothing ever happend. I'd ask other buyers to do the same as I did if you are as unsatisfied as I am, because this is unacceptable, craving money for doing nothing!

I'm mostly online on XDA with my phone. Not finding this thread with the search function is just another brilliant example for the topic!
Thank you anyway, I will post into that thread right away.

its because its in separate tab.. you just need to look beside your current tab heading to find sticky tab which has sticky threads which are important ones before creating a thread in a section

I think maybe you have bad timing, because we just pushed out an update to the premium version to the app store. A few minutes ago. We did a staged release in case there are any issues with it, but either way you should get the new update within 24 hours.
Sorry for the delay, we wanted to push out new updates but this was a major version change which is why there was a gap in updates. Hopefully you'll be satisfied with the changes.
I know that. Just never saw this thread, I swear! I'm not too dumb to use a forum's app, except this app is really, really bad lol. I think the money for the XDA app is better spent for Tapatalk 4, it's even cheaper atm because it's on a 99¢ sale this week.

At least it's more usable now and this is what counts most. I can live with an app that's not eye candy but I barely with one which is a pain in the ass to use.

Why not xda release a app based on forum runner?
Not many of us use forum runner but I find it MORE COMPATIBLE wid xda.
Following are the things I get in forum runner but not on tapatalk/xda app
♣ ability to report a post
♣ mod options for RCs shows as per their own thread not in every thread
♣no reply option present in closed thread (tapatalk gives option to reply even in closed thread bt ultimately says thread locked)
♣member title can be seen without click on profile pic.
Although it has some missing features but they can be added if xda adopts it..
Just my view..
Thanks

Forum runners report system is not compatible with xda's own, home-brewed report system.

As I said, forum runner isn't compatible. The reports done by this app ends up as pm to the entire team, which is not how the browser-based reports work. No matter which app people use, it barely takes 10 secs to switch to a browser to report
So, for the currently forseeable future, tapatalk and forum runner remain incompatible with our reports system. As for the rest, the xda app did get updated recently, so things aren't as dull on that front anymore
