Rooted Stock Rom have question? Which one?

I am gonna root using unrevoked 3.2 and just want a stock rooted rom that everything works like 4g etc. Now my question is what is the difference between Odexed and deodexed? Which one should I be using?
thanks
topcop
Since you want a stock rom with the ability to use root apps, stick with odexed. There is a ton of info on this site discussing the differences. Just do a search or Google it.

Cellcom israel stock rom

Hi,
I can't find the cellcom israel stock rom. Can anyone help me?
And another question, in the root process do I need to wipe the phone? Because I want to do it for my wife, her gio is very slow.
Is there any other way to make it work faster?
Thanks,
Lior.

No need to wipe when u root the phone. And you can install custom rom and then overclock it. Then it will be muuuuch faster with great functions
But if I stay with this ROM how can I speed it up?
Is there any app for this after rooting?
Thanks,
Lior.

No, phone won't speed up after rooting. There's one way to speed it up on stock rom: install custom kernel and overclock Gio. But you'll lost warranty, so it's better to install custom ROM

I am having a similar problem. I am rooted, running the GB Prada Rom at the moment. It came with a fix for a PUK sim error, but i still am not able to access data or my sim card. I have flashed many GB roms and they all deny me access to the sim card. I have searched around a few threads and have been encouraged to extract a 'Tee' folder out of a working rom to replace it in my desired rom, but i have not been able to find a rom that will actually allow me to access the sim. Maybe i am not understanding the steps to extract that folder and replace it. Will updating to JB all together fix this problem with the sim?? I am willing to go to any Rom that will satisfy this problem.
Thanks for reading

Manually upgrade to Kitkat? (keep root)

How to I manually upgrade to Kitkat? Currently rooted and running IOKP 4.3.1 ROM. I would like to be able to keep root whilst upgrading of possible?
As a side note can anyone recommend any e-book tutorials on android development and having a better understanding on ROMS/kernels etc.
Thanks.
If you want to upgrade to 4.4 or 4.4.2 you need to go back to stock ROM. As long as you have a custom recovery, like TWRP, then after upgrading, you simply flash SuperSU or any other root file you want through the recovery.

Just flash the zip from CWM/TWRP.
