[Q] Insert SIM card

Hey boys ans girls.
I jsut installed a ROM here for the N-7100 and it obviously didn't work because I have the SGH-I317M version for Canada.
I'm glad to see that this morning I could get a ROM that would work with the AT&T version, so that means it could get back on track my note II. Unfortunatly I keep having the same issue which is everytime I try to access the mobile networks tab I get the "Insert SIM card" message.
I thought it might be the sim card itself that was defective but I just went at Bell get a fresh one.. same problem.
Right now:

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
PS:I also tried different modem and to adjsut the APN settings, but same story repeated, can't access mobile networks because of the "insert sim card" message.

Problem solved, need a proper Banseband, I tried the one made for Roger, even if I'm with Bell. It worked.

although i have been a frequent visitor for more than a year this is my first time posting on this site :fingers-crossed:
i have an international galaxy s3 that i just got back from samsung service (device was dead) , they deleted everything from my phone and restored it to its factory settings,
the thing is that my phone was rooted and now its not.
when i got my phone back i downloaded all the updates that showed up and now my phone characteristics are as follows.

You need to look in the thread for your phone, this is for the Sprint version. I'm not familiar with anything for the international version so I won't be able to help.

n7100 Modem problem ?? bad 3G experience

Hi, I am in CANADA with a n7100.... and I really have a bad 3G experience... what is the best band or region or csc or I dunno for my phone ..
At the beginning when I bought my phone I had no idea about all this region band or modem or csc .. I was thinking a phone is a phone no matter the location it is. So I bought my phone here on a Canadian online store ( www newegg ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875176415 )
What I need to do ?? to get a better 3G experience ...

Hi sir xD. Because my bro is in canada. Ur post made me come here.
So about the data speed. It involves on your carrier and on your cellphone(the modem) even if modems are international they can also lower your download and upload speed and signal band. So seeing your modem. It looks like its from INDIA because it begins with DD
So i suggest you find one specific of canada and flash it on recovery OR if it is in modem.bin flash in on odin section phone.

i found that all Note II has 4.3 and i couldn't connect to Samsung servers for update
is it really N7100 i started to doubt it ..

I have the same problem cannot connect to samsung kies except via wi-fi and the device info are the same like you and I don`t know how can I upgrade to higher 4.3 or 4.4 jelly bean. By using phone info app on google store the app detect that my device is refurbished and has no CSC country, product code is not active, show nothing in colour/Intrnal storage. Pls help
