Hey guys! I just got "Pimp my Rom", and I manually download the beats audio tweak, and tried to flash it.
Unfortunately, I got an error status: 0
Any help here?

I was running RC0 but managed to softbrick my phone when attempting to install an update.
I have since managed to get back to Motorola's Blur 2.2.
I wanted to install CM7 RC1 but have seen posts about 2ndInit not being compatible with RC1. So, after I have rooted the device, do I just install some sort of CWM or equivalent and then flash CM7 RC1?
If so, does anyone have a link to the best version of CWM for Defy? The only one I have found is the bugfixed version updated at 2010-12-18.
Thanks.
use 1.4_2

I feel like an idiot for asking this, so if it's been posted anywhere, please point me to it.
Do we have a rooted ROM available for 2.3.6? I noticed a significant battery life improvement with 2.3.6 over 2.3.5 before I rooted and could really use having that back again. I did some major digging but I can't find 2.3.6 specifically mentioned in any ROM downloads
Thanks!
+1 to this, but, the AT&T version it's out there, I was wondering, anyone knows if there's a 2.3.6 for Rogers ? Not a custom ROM, a Stock ROM.
is there a signed zip i can flash with 3e recovery ?
i cant use odin because the usb not work
so i have no chance to install CWM
but if i wanne flash the custom roms it say verification failed
By the lack of responses, I'm guessing nobody has rooted the update??
Hi,
after I flashed the beta ICS, I flashed another custom rom over it.. now, after that sucked I flashed another custom rom right over it >>>instead of flashing firstly official ics beta again<<<<<
Now the play doesnt boot in OS, equal what ftf file I flash it doesnt quite boot, it doesnt work with my kernels too..
The play has installed ICS on flash which was flashed by recovery menu, and through FTF it has now gingerbread because I tried to backflash it again..
You know what I mean ? Sorry that I cant quite explain any better as Im German.
I just want to use my play again as I really enjoy using all your custom roms..
Hope some1 can help... thanks in advice.
Kind regards from Germany
try flashing doomkernal ics beta v1
Flash the ics beta and advanced stock kernel.
I bought an Arc S and updated it to ICS and found it a bit laggy
Rooted it and installed CWM and Flashed Ultimate HD but bluetooth wasnt working so restored my Nandroid backup but it kinda bricked (struck at sony logo) but i flased gb with flashtool and i am going to unlock bootloader soon...
I just wanted to know what are its general bugs couldnt find from bug tracker
And do i have have to install any kernel
P.S. : i am not a noob i have done all this with my galaxy ace
Help is appreciated
If you are flashing thru flash tool, no need to install kernel again.
But if you want change kernel (custom kernel) you can change. The best kernel for GB is DoomLord's kernel V22.
You can flash custom kernel thru fastboot.
Hello,
I'm new to rooting and I softbricked my phone last night. After reading Docs thread on the t-mobile sgh-t999l I was able to restore it to the factory settings.
I am currently running jellybean 4.3. My phone is rooted and I downloaded a CWM custom and flashed it through ODIN (computer).
When I try and install any custom roms through boot recovery I get a status 7 error code. Ive tried everything that Ive read in the other threads as far as readjusting the scripts etc.
Device info:
Baseband Version
T999LUVUBMK4
Kernel
3.031-210647
The phone itself is a T-Mobile refurbish but it might have been a sprint buy back.
When I opened the scripts for the PACMAN installer my UVUBMK wasnt even listed, so I'm not sure whether that is even an issue.
Any help is appreciated.
This seems like an awesome forum and I appreciate everyones input.
Donny
Can i just add my baseband, T999LUVUBMK4, into the script?

Flash the latest recovery ?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Sorry for not fully understanding....
What recovery?
I've got the latest nightly of the PAC rom. I updated my CWM to the latest version as well.
Thanks
Donny
So I reset my phone at stock, ran superuser and disabled knox.
Flashed the latest TWRP and tried to reflash the zip.
It hangs on the asserts.
If I try and flash the file with the asserts deleted it wont work either.
Any help?
