SIM port repair - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I damaged my sim reader with a SIM adapter kinda getting stuck, and now it won't read a SIM.
Anyone know of anyone that has had this problem?
And if it's a hard diy job, or if there is a reasonable person that could do it in the US?

I don't think that is possible. For that, you'd probably need a dual-SIM phone unless I am mistaken.

There are small bluetooth devices where you can insert 2nd SIM and both numbers are online.
Working on iOS and Android.

there are some series 28 magicsim adapters on ebay.
You can use both sims at same time for incoming calls.

i have a magic sim and you can't use both sims at the same time. you can switch from one or the other. if you want dual standby for both sims (use both sims at the same time for incoming calls), you are probably looking for gmate.

Either 3 problems ; u inserted it in a wrong way, not supported by this mobile or EFS is missing

Inserted correctly as it can only go in one way due to the cut off the simm.
Phone was bought simm free and unlocked to all networks (uk) and my simm works fine in my HTC One X.
What is the last one..???

Did you fully insert the sim card in the slot?
Do you have a microsim that you cut yourself?

Unlocked Sprint Note2 to make call on AT&T

Hi Forum,
Does any one know if an Unlocked Sprint phone can made call on T Mobile or AT&T network. I check out the spec, and seem like this my be possible. Sprint Note2 got all the bands.
Where are you going to stick the sim card?

Sim card holder. I found an ad on eBay which a seller has put in a new Sim card holder for a Sprint Note2. I ask if he test the phone if it can made call using ATT or T Mobile; he said he does not know
Boy o boy sounds like a pretty good gimmick selling something that he doesn't know that works and somebody willing to buy it even better... if you do some reading and some googling you can find info about this....
Rockin it from my macknote2
The hardware IS in our phones. You do have to buy that adapter and replace some of the innards of the device but from what I've seen once you do it the phone is ready to accept the sim. You just have to replace certain hardware. Sprint decided to go with an integrated sim.
Edit: Maybe not so easy? See this thread

Hacked:Sim Cards!

Just found out that someone finally discovered a way to hack Sim card's. Don't know about you guys but I'm a bit concerned. They say that 5 million phones could be affected. What does you guys think?

The article I read said it was only a certain type of older sim that was vulnerable, and even then the hack didn't work 100% of the time. If you have an older sim and you're worried, go to a Tmo store and tell them you need a new sim. Then you should be fine. If you got your sim recently, you're already good.
Trust me, SIM cards are next to impossible to hack. I have my s3 and I want to use both phones (obviously one will be off while using the other) use the s3 at work so not to break my beloved s4. Use s4 at home and when out. Got a SIM card reader and spent days figuring out how to clove it. Second you touch the SIM card, to figure out it's ki, boom SIM card is locked and destroyed. As was said before only the older ones are able to be touched.

Insert Sim error after inserting the sim

Hello guys.. how are you? I am new on this forum.. I have a problem with my Galaxy s4. When I insert the sim, after that it again demands for the sim. I don't know how to solve this problem. White signals are present near the battery but I am unable to use the service of sms and calls. Any solution related to this problem will be appreciated. Thanks!

The SIM itself could be bad.
Have you tried going to T Mobile and getting a replacement SIM?
Do you know anyone else with a T Mobile phone who could lend you their SIM for 2 minutes to test it? If you get the same results with another SIM the phone is the problem. If you don't, the SIM card itself is the problem.
Are you rooted? What ROM are you running?
If it's the stock unrooted ROM I'd say don't mess with it yourself. Go right to a T Mobile store and tell them to give you a new SIM.
I second that. I would also check to see if the SIM is in backwards. Someone may have just cut the micro SIM wrong as well. Good luck.

I have tried all the other sims, but there is the same error... I think that there is SIm-jacket problem.. It is destroyed as far as I think.. I should go for a change of sim card reader..
