I am running the ROM: Note 2 Tweaked and I was wondering what provides the best battery life (for those who use the screen alot)?
Tweaked (the one that comes with the ROM) or Faux Kernel?

Fwiw - the Tweaked installer comes with three kernel choices (trinity by morfic, pbj by imnuts, and plain ole stock), and the default choice if you make no changes (i.e. just flash the zip like any other zip and not go through the full customize-it-how-you-want bit via the basic/advanced installer option) is the plain ole stock kernel.

To this day the kernel that has provided the best battery life for me on the note 2 is PBJ kernel by imnuts. Second is morfic's Trinity kernel. (both found in the tweaked modificanator)
How do I get to the advanced installer. I just flashed the zip lol. Is pbj better than faux?

in my own personal opinion, yes it is.

So I learned the hard way that I can't use Kings kernel with MIUI (completely froze my phone). What other kernels are out there that I CAN use with MIUI that will improve battery life?
Thanks in advance!

yes, all works
To be honest, I can't see any possibility to be fast when the rom is based on Semaphore kernel.
From the information of the 1st post, it doesn't distinguish why this rom is different or can be faster. Would you please explain more what's the outstanding part compared to the general roms out there?

Which kernel has the same rock solid stability, yet is faster (and please don't say Galaxian, that kernel is terrible).

Speedmod but won't support BLN. If you don't care abt that, yes SpeedMod is the best.

I'm using DamianGTO kernel. Really rock solid and very fast (has overclock too). Not available Voodoo colour or BLN.

This is not asking what is the best sense rom out there or anything I'm just wanting to know what are your personal experiences with sense roms that have the best battery life? Or what rom and kernel combos worked best for you and gave you the best battery life? Thanks ahead of time everyone!

I have been running this stock ROM+ for almost 2 days... I don't have Tiny's latest kernel on this one yet, but so far this has been the worst ROM I've flashed as far as battery life is concerned.
I haven't tried other GB Sense roms, but my battery life has improved using the Stock+ rom versus my previous Froyo Virtuous Rom.
Hey I would like to know from your experiences which rom is most stable;has good battery life and is best for gaming(gta and the like)?
Thanks in advance

Agree....

absolutely CM 7
I recommend you ADRENALINE ROM wich is super stable and perfect for gaming because of ADRENALINE ENGINE & ADRENALINE BOOSTER. I use this rom.
Another choice is ENHANCED ROM but for gaming and battery life i think you should install ADRENALINE.
Cheers.
As answered several times before :
Stock :
Adrenaline for pure Speed/Battery/Stability, but near stock functionalities (4th release should include some more tweaks).
Enhanced236 if you want a couple more functionalities, but at the cost of Speed/Battery/Stability.
CM7 :
Latest Phiexz.
CM9/CM10 :
Can't be compared to Adrenaline / Phiexz as far as battery and stability are concerned.
That said, Erikcas/TheWisp's CM10 seams very promising.

cm10.1 and even cm10 really drains battery fast. depends on what u are doing w/ ur phone. if u really want to use 10.1, i suggest you use 3.0.x kernel. as far as i know, it's more stable than 3.4.x. try the following kernels and use the one that suits ur needs :good:
3.0.x kernel
HurtSky
Madridii
Skull
3.4.x
HurtSky
Skull

On CM10 I get up to 2 days out of a charge (depending on usage) on Madridii kernel set to Smartass V2 and SIO as processor and governor.
I Just flashed a CM10.1 ROM today (Honami UI) and am giving Hurtsky V2.6 kernel a try. If it doesn't work out on the battery front I will be switching to Madridii again.
