I have the same thing on mine. Considering the very low percentage after more than 5 hours since unplugged, this is considered normal. If you are experiencing poor battery life then this is definitely not your issue.

Try Greenify to see if that might help with any unwanted wakelocks.

first off there are some ways to calibrate an battery without any apps..
BUT.. your battery is brand new and hasn't reached its potential yet, so calibrating is useless.
If you have battery issues, try getting an update to 4.0.2 + radio. your on XDA you'll find enough info here.
I do believe the battery gets better after a weeks use or something like that.
Or maybe you have I-just-got-a-new-toy-and-have-been-loading-it-with-apps-and-playing-with-it-all-day syndrome side effects are short battery life

Bad battery?

Idk how I just plummeted in battery life
That's weird... Let it die completely and recharge till you hit 100. See what it does next cycle

It's weird though cause I had it at 100% I restarted it then plummeted to 50%. Already let it completely die. Seems fine...for now
Maube the batterystats file was corrupted? Somehow it seems like the phone was not reading the battery level correctly and when you rebooted it reset itself and started reading correct again.
Keep an eye on it over the next few cycled to see if it happens again.

All kinds of things can make it go hinky. It sounds like it was because of a restart. Why did you restart it?

Look at your network signal bar. Where it's green means you had a good signal, yellow is meh and you probably had a bad signal there (or a mediocre one at best). That will kill your battery pretty quickly on its own....

I really believe this was a fluke, a freak occurance if you will. I honestly wouldn't worry about it unless you have similar problems again. Like I said earlier its probably due to a corrupted batterstats file or something like that.
Has your phone been acting normal since then? Any other strange problems?

Poweramp battery usage

I am rooted and have been using Poweramp for nearly a month. I really enjoy it as an app, but I have found it to be extremely daunting on my battery. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice? Thanks!

Yup, it uses more battery for me too. I thought it was a known fact lol.
Basically unless you manually close it completely sometimes it will cause a wakelock, but then again even standard usage uses more battery life than average.

Battery draining fast

My T-Mobile note 2 battery is draining extremely fast its NOT rooted. So I don't understand why isn't draining so fast someone please help. And if anyone is having this same problem how did you fix it without getting a replacement device.

See if anything in the Better Battery Stats thread will help you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809&nocache=1
That will at least allow you to see what's doing it.
I will thanks

Check the battery stats for "gpsd". Mine started draining after updating to 4.1.2. It appears (for me at least) that the Samsung "find-your-phone-if someone-steels-it" was behaving badly.
If this is the case for you. Switch the service/function of and notify Samsung.
How many hours do you get when your battery is draining fast?
My stock phone started to drain fast as well. Within 6 hours unplugged I see myself having only 60 percent remaining with barely an hour screen on time. I tried to narrow it down to a rogue app but it seems the OTA was more plausable and easier to blame lol
Now back to using Jedi again.

It's called DIVE and does more than just recover lost phones, it is a management suite, not that I've spent a lot of time on it so far.

My phone isn't rooted. And Im new too this so I'm a little bit lost on what to do. Before that T-Mobile update I would get 24hrs+ but I'm lucky enough too get 8hrs and that's without heavy use

That's not it ever since this multiwindow update battery life has diminished. I can't figure it out. Like right now all I did is a little bit of fb twitter Tapatalk gps music and thats it and its at 38% unplugged since 6 hrs and on screen time is 2 hrs.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
I turned off the multi window under settings cause I rarely use it and ive been unplugged for 9 hrs and have 56% left I also am syncing manually. Hopefully this will help

Yea multi view does seem to contribute to see extra drain. But as I see it my phone lasts all day no matter what I do to it. I've never EVER had to say...dang where's my charger. Not with this phone. It's perfect for me . I use it HEAVILY
I trade commodities so I'm constantly on the Internet and syncing prices all day long. I don't use wifi. Ever

Battery life.. just amazing

after rooting and getting my note 3 on att I have to say I am just in awe how good the battery life is.
I have sync on for gmail, facebook, linkedin and moderate use I am at 2 days and 7 hours off the charger with 18% left. Screen time of 5 hours and 6 minutes.
Killed a lot of apps with TI and it has really just been awesome
Yeah, I'm about to hit éight hours of screen on time, pretty damn good for a stock unrooted phone.

I'm totally stoked on how awesome the battery life is! Full day of listening to SiriusXM, while using the built in pedometer, texting, and using Google Hangouts for face to face chatting, and still last all day!

According to my usage scheme, I had to replace battery twice with s3, and once with Note 2, but this thing can leave even more than 10%!
It even can last five days if you leave it idle 24/7.

I think the common element here is all these people where getting great battery life before KK dropped. I know mine has gone downhill after KK.

If you're rooted, try disabling DVFS through Wanam. It substantially increased my battery life.
Thanks Ill give it a try....
