I got the s4 t-mobile, I tried the sim unlock as demonstrated here. however, it was unsuccessful. i was wondering are there any unlock that can be done instantly ..There are various sites as mentioned here , fastgsm,unlockriver, and cellunlocker.. unlocks code found. I was looking at the usb method, is it safe to do so via usb? thanks a lot guys .

i also tried the method here as well as a few other sites like cellunlocker with no lock. finally, i did fastgsm over usb and now i am using my t-mobile S4 on AT&T.

I unlocked 5 T-mobile m919 models using trick provided
U have to be on stock room without root or anything.
If that dose not work, you can also call T-Mobile to Unlock it for u [ I had 6th one did not unlock so I called and they did it for me ]
To get free Unlock from T-Mobile u must meet one of condition they have

Ok. I know there are threads about this but I saw no clear cut answers in any of them. I already have this device rooted with Super SU. However it keeps asking for Unlock SIM code. I need this device to work with another carrier other than AT&T. Can I get any help please???
I don't think there is a way to unlock this phone for different carriers yet.

I would like to start off by saying that i dont care about any warranty or any such issues. I had bought a S4 in US which i brought to India without ever activating on T Mobile network. This means that on contacting T Mobile, they are unable to send me any activation code which could SIM Unlock my device.
So now my only problem is to make my device usable. I see two options:
a) SIM Unlock
b) Complete removal of firmware and install some custom ROM, bootloader and other components to get rid of T mobile network
Problem is that i am a newbie and couldnt find any thread that could help me. MY device is updated to the latest version i.e. i am on 4.4.2 with baseband as M919UVUF9B4 and knox bootloader
Can someone help me out. I have already tried rooting the device and trying some apps which suggested that would help me unlock my device but none of them worked..

If you paid T-Mobile the full price for the phone approx US$500-US$600 (not the subsidized price) before you left, they should provide you with the SIM Unlock code. You may need to talk with another customer service agent. However, if you only paid the subsidized price, then you've broken the contract with them, and they won't. You'll have to contact a company that will sell you an unlock code.
As to rooting the phone, have you tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294005 ?
If this doesn't work, you're doing it wrong.

Flashing a custom rom will not allow it to work on a different network. The phone will still be sim locked.
Like the post above me says, call T Mobile and have them give you the code. If you didn't pay the phone off, they won't give it to you nor should they.
Chainfire's Region Lockaway app will SIM unlock in the process of removing region restrictions. I remember reading something to that effect anyway.
For use chainfire's Region Unlock, you must be root.

id suggest you find a website that unlocks phones, it usually costs less than 10 bucks or probably like 500 or so rupees but it should save you a lot of headaches

Hi ! I am sorry if i am breaking any rules over here i am new to the desire hd forums. I have searched through some posts before creating this post i am getting confused because of some retired and obsolete methods.
My brother is bringing an desire Hd locled to telus canada i want to unlock it so as to be able to run it on indian networks. Can someone please point me to the correct guide that can help me achieve the above. The phone is stock DHD unrooted locked bootloader nothing is tweaked so far.

Hello, as i can see you're from Chandigarh,India and you want to unlock your Telus HTC Desire HD,all i can give you easiest method without any troublesome and without rooting or unlocking bootloader. You may have to simply follow below given link.

Once done,it will prompt a message "Your device is Unlocked" and so you're ready to rock with any carrier you want. Most of the time supplier asks you to be on Stock Rom,but as long as your phone detects non legit sim card has installed,you're good to go.In your case your device is Stock so no worries.
That's the simplest method with cheapest way to unlock without messing around and trying to ended up bricking it. This link i found. You might find cheaper than this. But that's how i did with my device.

Man, what a nightmare...
I moved from Vancouver to California in February, and I've been trying to unlock my phone from Wind ever since. They provided me with an unlock code that doesn't seem to work. Then, after waiting 30 days for them to get me a new code, they gave me the same one. At this point, I doubt that the code is a mismatch to my IMEI, but it's just not working...
Here's the facts:
I have a SGH-T999V running 4.4.2. When I put in the T-Mobile sim card that I'd like to use and then try to put in the unlock code, I get an error message saying that the unlock code was unsuccessful.
Here are the questions that I have:
Do I need to be on the Wind Network to have the unlock code work? I selected T-Mobile as the network operator ever since I moved down to California.
It seems like other people with my version of the phone have had similar issues...is there a solution to this problem?
Can the fine, fine people of this forum help?
This has been a problem since 4.3 with some Samsung devices. Only thing I can suggest is try regionlock away from chainfire to see if it will unlock, which is probably unlikely. Make sure you are on stock firmware with stock kernel

Only other thing is to contact Samsung, since it seems to be a Samsung issue at this point

Welp, I'll give it a try, but I've seen in other posts that people have been given the runaround by Samsung, who say, "This is because of how Wind locked your phone, can't help you."
I'll update this post with my progress, in case other people are having the same trouble.
Hi i'm new, sorry if the post is in the wrong section or it has already been spoken on an other thread but i have a lot of trouble unlocking my SGH-I747M.
Ok so it all begins when my girlfriend wich is Canadian gave me the phone because mine broke.
She told me it was locked with the company koodo and it's starting to be kind of annoying.
I am from France so there is no way i can take a contract with koodo to unlock the phone.
I contacted them to ask if they could unlock it (even with money), they basicly told me that my girklfriend had to subscibe again to one of their offers to be able to unlock it.
They also told me that any company could unlock the phone if i offer them the price but none of them was able to unlock the phone, even with the EIM codes on the internet ...
so i am basicly here with a dead phone so i needed some of your guy's advice on how to be able to put a french sim card in this Canadian phone.

You must be running a stock rom and you will have to buy a code to network unlock the phone.
I recommend looking on eBay for a seller with good feedback and a low price.
