[Q] Bricked samsung gio

Ok so my samsung galaxy gio is bricked and stuck at the android sign.
-Download mode will show a empty battery instead of normal
-i can enter Recovery Mode AND Ramdump mode
-i can also enter Emergency Dload Mode

do a wipe data factory reset/cache
And try to enter in the download mode
then use odin and your phone is done

Or u can try off the battery for a while then put it back.
After that, try to flash new rom

I don't know w/ that method...
Maybe it work
In my case before, solved w/ pull the battery off for a while...

I cant go into download mode unfortunately

I just bricked my gio today after installing an ROM made by my friend , I'm going to kill him P_P

OK help me help you. how did you do that? what did you do? what are you trying to do? can you get into download mode? have you pulled the battery and then tried to get into recovery?

thanks for ur reply. i tried to install a theme in recovery mode then when i restarted it kept looping. at first i took the battery out then put it back in but nothin. then i took memory card out and that time it went into recovery. very weird it did that

Link what you flashed to cause that. What theme?

I tries this once, take out the battery then hold the volume up and power button in then insert the battery, the moment you see Samsung let go of the buttons. Hope this works!

Hi, my galaxy s3 bell i747m is stuck in boot loop, after it just shut off on its own one day. I cant even use the recovery or download mode. Is there anything i can do to fix this or is it done.

No, i have to order one? and then it gets me into download mode and i flash stock firmware? sorry im a noob.

What exactly did you try to do? And try a jig.. If you cant get to download mode or recovery most likely sending to samsung/JTAG service can fix it up for you

i didnt do anything to it, i didnt flash nothing just one day i took out of my pocket and it was in boot loop and i can get to download mood and recovery for like 1 second then it just reboots.. so do i have to order a jig online than it gets me into download mode?

Samsung grand duos need help

hi :crying:
can anyone help me to fix my device. it's dead.
I did update it after that it did not boot anymore ..
I tried to boot to recovery mode but also it did not .. it gave black screen.
I also tried to boot to download mode but also it did not also the same it gave black screen.
please help .. what can I do

Better to go service center... screen is dead.. Same complaint happened to one xda member..

You can download the original firmware and reflash it using " Odin". Search for tha grand forum to how to do it.

If he cannot go to download mode or recovery mode.. How will he flash stock firmware.. Then he have to learn some magic or what..

I can help you with this. First you need to download Root External 2 Internal SD.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.codlab.int2ext&hl=en
After install, at setting section, tick "send rescan" and "use per default".
At the ext. sdcard device access, chage it to "/dev/block/void/179:9".
Then swap you memory. It should work now.
(It can't make it permanent swap, so the app will try to auto swap it on each boot, tick the "**At boot" option on the menu.)

Good afternoon, guys, okay? I really need help from you guys. Without realizing just trying to update my phone and that the model 9082L for Android 4.2.2 and the problem that the ROM was released for the 9082 model. It did not update the rom but I'm partially with the phone bricked. He usually works the only thing I am not able to access and Download Mode. Could someone help me, give me some light on how to solve this problem? And my phone rooted and have Clockwork Mod installed.

is recovery working?
as well try this
remove battery
hold both volume keys +/-
plugin charger
instert battery
you'll see device being charged
now try going to download mode
of this don't work
give a try to downloadmodejig google it

Yes the recovery is Working.
I tried, no success.
I google it downloadmodejig but they don´t have support for the phone yet.
Any other suggestions?

Remove sd card put an flashable L rom this time via card reader or something put the card in and flash it via recovery dont forget to clean user data cache and dalvick cache:thumbup:

bro his main concern is download mode
i will suggest visiting samsung care as they will never know if you're rooted or not
just tell them any other bug & ask to fix it

Anyone? I guess all a need it´s a way to conect the phone to update de download mode again...
