Hi! I'm going to show you how to install Google Play Services on Custom ROMS because other ROMS don't have them and when you use Google Play and download it from there it will say "Cannot Be Downloaded, Using same shared user id. This is how to install them without having any problems.
Download the Gapps in here http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Wipe data and cache then install your ROM
Wipe data and cache again
Install the Gapps that you've downloaded.

Gaaps MIUI
will this version of Gaaps work with MIUI ROM ?
Work on all CM7 androids?
AW: [TUTORIAL] Install Gaaps for Cyanogenmod7, Market and Google apps.
Some ROMs have their own recommended GApps so check first in your ROMs thread. If not, you can just browse goo.im for the latest GApps. Make sure, it's the right package for your Android version. Jb = jellybean, gb = gingerbread. For the flashing you can follow the guide above.

Thank you.
I will be an ungrateful dude if I do not thank you for this download. I was on Jelly bean on Lg P500 but had to downgrade to Gingerbread because I was not enjoying it much. But when I did, google apps was missing, and you provided a solution.
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

I have the same problem and yes, using a file explorer there is no Play store at system/app.
Is it possible that there is no Play store or Market until I setup a google account on the device (because at the moment I'm right after factory reset, so there is nothing on the phone)?

I downloaded the proper gapps, boot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe data / factory reset, install gapps, reboot. Then now it's working. I don't know what happened previously after the first factory reset (it was from the menu, not from recovery).
:/
I've been trying that for a while now, and I still can't use Google Play Store.
I am trying to install the maps update on my arc running manhpros miui v5.3 and its telling me i have an incorrectly signed version, so i uninstalled old version, had to do it manually through root explorer, then tried installing fresh version of maps but same error message, anyone able to help me get it working ?

Its cause of the rom your using
(FIX) Try wiping data and cache partition
I rooted my phone and I am using LiquidSmooth v4.1.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965659)
I installed it and what not but I can't open up the Google Play Store after I download it? It doesn't even load up? I click it, it loads and then it immediately crashes.
Does anyone know the solution to this ?
Does that rom include gapps or you have to flash them separately? Go under apps play store and clear cache and data. Let me know

Thank you, but my friend helped me. I had to flash gapps separately. It didn't come with it.
I just finished rooting my Galaxy Note 2 and installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly. I was not able to install Goggle Play Store but I downloaded it off a website the apk file. Now every time I open goggle play store it just closes immediately or won't open. Is there a way to install Goggle Play Store through Clockworkmod recovery to get it working?

To get play store you have to flash gapps after you flash the rom.
Then boot into recovery, flash gapps, wipe davlik and reboot.

Hi guys
I am getting an error 927 when trying to download or update apps. I have the latest version of the play store, with the new design and all.
People are saying it has something to do with the developers servers and all but no apps are downloading, doesn't matter which developer made it.
Have you tried wiping your cache and rebooting?

It could also be an odex file with same name as play store.
Just rename file by adding a 1 save reboot and try.
I had this problem with a single app because of a odex file I used root explorer to rename.
