(REQ) Paranoid Android?

Hi, Just wondering if any developers would consider building a paranoid android rom (like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1628206). I just thought that it looked nice. Anyways, thanks for all the work devs!

Nope its worked on htc too..there is htc hd2 finished to port this rom..take a look the blog of paranoid android..

I don't think it would look bad. Touchpro had a screenie of one of his old ics roms and he was running tablet mode and it looked sick! I know that this isn't tablet mode this is a rom but still looks sick

So is this Rom being worked on? I can't wait to try it out.

Someone can use my my port guide, in my signature, to try it out. Just find a HTC device that has the ROM. The mytouch 4g has it

Mr. Highway you do not give yourself enough credit. I bet you could port this rom in a quarter of a cigarette not a half Thanks for the reading!

Does it take a lot of skill? I can't even USB mount my phone to my computer not to mention going to the field and work....

Yeah i must say, my phone doesn't like AOKP based ROMs, but i keep wanting restore my nandroid of this ROM... all the inverted stuff looks really good with my themes too! A+ work in my book!

Have been using this since 36 nice themed and inverted apps "MUST FOLLOW INSTALL TO THE LETTER OR PROBLEMS" Thanks for bringing this over.

I have been running this for almost a day and I like it so many things you can do and its smooth and pretty fast a couple things that I noticed is on keyboard letter s np line above it no big deal also I did follow the rules on installing my market went back to not being inverted everything else is which looks great I'm still playing with with all options so will report later once in a while I get system errors when I'm in settings but nothing major thank you to the developer this is a great rom and looking forward for your future work :thumbup:

just deleted all kang 39 builds totally I missed a bunch of **** will be rebuilding and reuploading a completely new 39! if not tonight.....then Friday LOL.

Looks like they are using an updated kernel. On cm10 its .48 and from these pictures it seems to be .50.

AOKP's pink unicorn, and CyanogenMod's Andy/Cid on a skateboard are in the spirit of the ROMs imo. Some might see it as immature "punk kid stuff", but most just don't care as long as the ROM is great.

So, how do we get our hands on it (the ROM, not the underwear)?

If you're looking for 4.2 goodies - the 4.2 gapps work perfect on cm10.0 12/4

At least the camera actually works though and it's just recording which is partially broken. Is that the same with the s3?

has their been any dev on the tmobile sII for the splash screen?? i did a search and didnt find much (anything).. if the task isnt too much i might consider a small bit of it.. the samsung image is boring to me.. much thanks..

First off there's tons of made boot animations available, sec of all this is posted in the wrong section. There's a general section in this forum for these types of questions. I'm not by any means flaming you but please watch the first video you was made to watch so you can follow the rules to this forum.
As a request I ask that you pm a moderator to move this thread to the correct section. And don't be offended to the other senior members that will give you tons of hard time for the posting here...
And third of all, Google is your friend as well as xda search...

I remember tdj darkside roms changed that splash screen..and think it's in the kernel because it would change when ever I flashed tdj's kernels.
..other than him(such an awesome and actual dev we had), I've yet to see somebody else do this on our phone.

Yea it was his kernels, but he was pure dedication and I guess found how to do it. Hopefully the lightning kernel can step up and do it since it's the last(and best) of the good kernels.

Although your a recognized developer for us , ptmr3 your kernel is for 4.0.4 so a lot of the new guys want to jump right to jb so they totally miss out on your great ROMs. Can't wait to see what you do once you get official source.

My phone isn't a Sprint S3. Can I flash this? Yes. My port uses the CM kernel, which is shared across all US SGS3 devices.

just wondering, why you used a CM kernel, instead of using a TW kernel.? which source is aviable and you can do some stuff.

TW kernel has TW dependencies, unlike AOSP.
Using AOSP to pull files from is the key to porting proprietary UI's.

You'll notice that I disabled the ril bins for the moment. You can try re-enabling in the fix_perms script (chmod to 755 instead of 644), but if I remember correctly, it doesn't boot when I do that.
Also, to get the latest files, clone my github repo, the "CM10-evolte" branch.

anticipation is killing me softly to try out Sense 5....will wait for final product...

This seemed interesting so I decided to give it a whirl. Really liking what I see so far. Aside from a few random reboots and lag issues it's looking bright for just being an alpha. Can't wait to see this mature into a daily driver :laugh:

Id say this rom is quietly brilient, apart from few lags, camera, sound, and smoother transition needed, i jus cant wait for Full. Please take ur time. :good::good:
