Gotta learn to make some. 3d images, molded buttons, etc. They all take time to make.
Learn to use gimp or photoshop

Well there's no certain place. At least that I know of. Especially since you have to fit the image to fit the status bar height.. I forgot off hand

Yep, we have one on our rom. I eventually plan on making more but this is what I came up with so far. You also have to edit a xml file to use an image as opposed to a hex value

I made one. I have no clue what I'm doing. The problem I had was even when the bg was transparent when you put the image up il there's no transparency

I wouldn't mind if android came pre rooted since 85 percent of is going root anyway.

Its super simple, but I would like to be able to hide the clock in the status bar.

Yes, however it takes root and some flashing. To be able to do it from the settings/display menu option would be nice
I agree with blackdragon79x, to be able to theme would be great.

Me personally, I can go for some motions, they always seem to amaze me, I honestly still get a kick out of swiping my hand across my phone to take a screen shot lol, if not that, some more options in the power saving settings, or a default settings to keep screen off when you receive a notification, not that it bothers me because I'm rooted and I use freeza's fregs3 ROM which comes with that option, but I'm sure other would really appreciate it

A couple bootanimations I put together and thought I'd share.
HD Hubble Deep Field
Actual boot looks MUCH better than the gif

Works like a charm and looks great!
Thanks!
cool stuff! you got any recommended tracks for audio to go with the hubble boot?
Personally, if I had to put audio to this, it would be some part of the opening theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Correct the are NOT flashable, I just replace the bootanimation in system>media using Root Explorer
NCC-1701
thanks for the tip, but I wouldn't like space odyssey on my phone
I happened to find a track I like for the hubble boot, thanks to a recent nasa article. you can rip the audio from the video online (google it)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFT7ATLQQx8
now I just have to pick a part of the track I like and rip that out...

No idea if I missed what was posted or if it's always been this. But just in case this thread becomes epic, thought I'd get in sorta early. Although, aren't placeholder threads against the rules? I seen a thread get closed until it actually offers something, again.
