Pure AOSP Gingerbread Rom For The Epic......

Hey guys im a budding xda dev with a lot to learn and I decided to take a shot at creating a 100% stock Android 2.3.3 rom for the epic 4g. Anyone interested in seeing this happen.....I've made a little progress already.....

I would LOVE to see this.

Great to hear u guys are interested....the more people the better I feel about taking on this project.....

This would be absolutely awesome! I'm almost ready to give up on my epic because there isn't a rom that I'm happy with, but I'm a complainer, not a do-er. So I don't have a right to complain. This is so different from the hero. But I would love to see a aosp rom that is functional.

Actually this is an awesome idea. Let me know if you need help, I've never worked on android souce before but I do need a project maybe I could be of use. Also I can provide hookers and blow. Maybe unicorns.

You can find a couple using the Zedge app. That's what I'm using as my SMS tone atm...it basically pisses me off so much that I can't ignore my texts like I usually do.

i found setting the FPS cap to 35 makes it much smoother. 60 is just overkill but 30 is too noticeable for my eyes.

You're rooted I assume? Metamorph had things to make that possible. Look in the themes and apps section. Also romcrazyguy, a me member of he forum has a way not sure but seem him post about it.

Not a problem, with morph you can change them to specific pictures even, haven't messed to much with it though.
