Just as the title says. How do you remove a theme after you have flashed it? (or flash back to Stock Desire 2.2) and on that note is there a list of just Stock Sense themes in one thread. ( Hard to scroll through them all in the forum. Thanks
Restore the nandroid you made before flashing the theme or reflash your current rom without wiping.

Have you read any stickies or rom threads in the ONE x dev forums? Start there.

Check out the ARHD rom by Mike1986 - it is available in the One X Development section. You can use ROM cleaner to remove sense from the ARHD rom and give you a clean ICS look. I'm currently running ARHD 9.2 with Nova launcher and couldn't be happier with the result - the phone is fast, stable and everything works well. Prior to that i was using CM10, which was very fast and sleek, but had many bugs and the battery life was appalling. The battery life on the ARHD rom is just amazing (way better than stock) and the best parts of sense (like the Camera) are retained to ensure you get the best functionality out of your phone.

No problem
Make sure you read the instructions carefully, and perform a nandroid backup before you do anything!
Ya I already have a titanium backup

nandroid backup and titanium backup are different things
Titanium backup only backs up your apps and data
while nandroid backup will back up your ROM
use backup option in recovery to make a nandroid backup{ always recommended }

You will need to make a Nandroid backup - you can do this through Rom Manager (free download on playstore) or from within ClockWorkMod (make sure you have this installed at the very least...). Titanium backup only covers your apps+data, whereas a Nandroid backup takes a snapshot of your entire ROM. If you run into problems whilst trying to flash a ROM, titanium backup is going to be of no use to you!
F.Y.I: Sense is not just an UI overlay (i.e: Nice looking widgets, lock screen and launcher). It goes far deeper into the OS. Therefore you cannot completely “remove” sense from a sense ROM. If you want pure google experience then the ONLY way is to install an AOSP based ROM like Cyanogenmod. But having said that, if you only want to get rid of the *sense look* then there are ways to do that keeping all the sense goodies (i.e Beats audio, sense camera etc.) Viper X is probably the easiest ROM to customize to look like pure AOSP. With Viper X , you don’t have to flash too many mods, most UI elements can be changed right within the UI (through Venom tweaks)
THNKX MAN . thats what i needed , cuz i love beats audio , and i need a better ROM
Alternatively try using a MIUI Rom with Nova or Apex launcher as this to be gives more of an ICS feel as retains good bits of sense (Camera, Gallery & Music) and all the reset of the apps used are based off ICS rather than sense.

I just re-flashed stock rom. I was running modpunk's ics rom for marvelc, but since he does not update it anymore, i decided i should switch to stock until i find a better ROM. Does anyone know how i can change the status bar on the stock rom? i do not want to flash hensemod, or any other rom because i do not like the ring on the new sense. So if someone could help me to either figure out how to flash hensemod and change the lockscreen, or change the status bar on the stock rom, help would be greatly appreciated

just installing some apk's from market you can do that on any rom. for lockscreen there is lot of apks available... for status bar, status bar+, super status bar.. i think you definitely known about using apk's coz you rooted your phone, flashed roms blah blah blah... hehe.... :good:

The problem with that would be....I am using a MarvelC device. There is no marvelc support on that ROM sadly :/
You can give it a good run through the uot kitchen. I've made many modifications like that.

Extract the htclockscreen.apk and htclockscreen.odex from a ROM that has the lock screen you like, then flash hensemod and replace those two files using a root file explorer

Does anyone know how to do this? I hate my status bar icons currently. My phone set-up currently is as follows:
Note 2 Root Toolbox (I believe this is odin)
Stock Rom
TWRP Recovery
Custom Boot Animation and Audio
Beats Audio Drivers
A few other things are done but they are not worth mentioning. I am opening to anything from changing the icons one by one to changing the whole theme. Thank you very much in advance for all of your help.

I believe that you need a deodexed ROM to do any theme mods to the top status bar. If you're unsure, look in the system/app directory, and if you have .odex files, you are not "deodexed". Once you're running a deodexed ROM, you can apply any number of status bar mods that are available for your particular ROM-base (ie LJC, LK8,MA5). I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can give you more specific information on how to build those mods yourself if you want. Hope this helps a little

Thanks, I am not deoxed yet, hopefully someone could help me with that. I want ro be able to use ota updates still though. Will I be able to?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
You need the stock recovery to receive OTA updates, and you've already flashed TWRP. If you like the stock ROM and are only looking to theme it, I suggest you download an appropriate deodexed version from the development forum. Stock deodexed ROMs for LJ1, LJC, LK8, and MA5 are all available. Once you flash the new ROM, you can apply flashable themes from the themes forum.

Flash this vrtheme on your own risk or extract from there the icons and change them using icon changer from playstore
