Note 3 news - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

http://bgr.com/2013/07/08/galaxy-note-iii-specs-not-final/

Ehh is whatever. Can it play a pc game? Can it project a digital keyboard? Can it have a badass a DAC? Probably not lol.
And I [email protected] that it wont incorporate a better cooling solution for the battery and cpu.

I love me some Final Fantasy, but they are charging a ridiculous price.

$16.00?? What a rip off. I would pay $5-6 but $16 is highway robbery.
No way am I paying $16 for it.
Emulate it. Just as good.
Edit: nevermind, some sort of 3d remake.

Till I saw the price.....Daylight robbery. I purchased it on the iPhone 4 for around £5 if I remember.
Agreed. While this is very awesome, the price is not.
How much?!?! Crazy price. Its an app ffs not a full retail game. Sort it out Square Enix!!

Wow this is awesome, but not for $15!
I agree with above. 13€ is too much expensive for a smartphone game. :/

To the OP ... I swear I could kiss you right now , no matter how fat you are Just Kidding! anywayz , prices is imba! -.-
Off-T : GO LUCAS ROSOL!!
I believe this is a port of an NDS (or other handheld) version? I bought just to support development on this platform, I'd really like to see some new, higher end RPG gaming on android. The iOS platform has a lot more development there, which is unfortunate for us.
I agree, the price is pretty egregious for the market... but I'd pay that price if I got 20-40 hours of gameplay out of it.
In response to emulation, I've already played/beat most SNES/PSX RPGs... so it's nice to have new options.
Thanks!! Didn't know this was available on Android ;-)

This is the DS 3D remake. It isn't just the classic rom from the NES. Seeing how the DS version is probably $20, it isn't bad. Great game though with plenty of hours to chew through. $9.99 would seem more appropriate though.

That's because you need the Sony phone PlayStation thingy (forget the name).
And this Final Fantasy 3 is way overpriced. I don't understand why developers do this. Making something so expensive just makes people download it for free instead of paying the developer.

I installed it fine on my Jellybean ROM, what ROM are you using? BTW, I love the web slinging, like the ol' PS2 version.

Games to truly use S3 power?

Just wondering if there are any games that take full advantage of the quad core chip and Mali GPU?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Games like Nova 3 are heavy gpu eaters but it isnt optimized for quad core cpu's for that well have to wait till such game comes out. As in my opinion cpu doesnt have much effect on gaming performance

Don't bet your head on this one.The S2 plays Tegra 3 games(All I've tried and worked) without sweating too much without even the need to be overclocked.I don't see the reason why they would be hard to play for the S3.Games like NOVA 3 do tax the system too much.I think Gameloft's games aren't as well coded as Dead Trigger for example though.
Anyway,if you want to use the full power of the S3,wait some months until Gameloft releases a game with the Unity Engine they teased the other day.I think that will be worth talking about.

Asphalt 7
The new gameloft games Nova 3 and Asphalt 7 actually look really impressive with all the motion blur effects and stuff. Who needs a ps vita^^ But my SGSIII gets really hot when i play them for a longer time, makes me feel a little uncomfortable Altough i never run into any freezes or anything so far...
I tried GTA 3 and it looks amazing with all graphics settings turned up to their highest. Resolution all the way up and Frame Limiter turned off.
Amazing.

Shadowgun: Deadzone out of beta

Played it during the beta and it's the best 3rd person shooter on Android hands down. If you haven't downloaded it already go do it now. It's free and awesome.
If you're looking for friends on it I'm drev389
Go get it and shoot some people.
noted for future reference on my Note 2
Agreed best third person out there

Indestructible by glu mobile.
Multiplayer sometimes is buggy, but overall a fun experience. It's like twisted metal and plays really well on the device. Better then on other things, actually 'cause of the awesome screen size.
I don't really get into other glu games, but Gun Bros 2 is a good one to scrape together some gold to unlock stuff with in Indestructible.
Words with Friends - like scramble with friends.
I wouldn't want to play anyone on xda in words with friends. You guys know too much lol.

WTH is Dead Trigger 2?

Am I just missing something? Today is the 23rd and I can't seem to find any solid info about why I can't find it on the Play Store. I'm assuming it would be available for the Nexus 4 right? Also don't see it on Nexus 7...WTH? Been looking for it all day...

So when they say release date on October 23rd they don't mean during normal business hours or even earlier in the day but some random time in the evening. Grrr. Guess I'll have to wait longer.. Charging my Nexus 7.. LOL.

Tegra graphics for dead trigger 2
I'm sure most of you know of the ultra high graphics mod for the first game but I just found a Ultra High Graphics Mod for Dead Trigger 2, more info & downloads here, I haven't tested it yet
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46765216
Does the game always require an internet connection to be played?
Its out now... Playing
I have only "High" and "low" graphics settings :/
How i can unlock ultra high?
It lags on ultrahigh graphics. But it is comprehensible I think.
---------- Post added at 05:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:30 PM ----------
Just tested with a SGS3 and there is no almost lag.......

So, after playing the game for a couple days I have to admit I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be. It's allot like the first one. Same basic two or three missions collect, defend, attack. The graphics are better but it's the same basic premise. Similar guns, similar enemies with a couple variations. The overall game play is still much the same, very boxy, very enclosed. Nothing open world like Left For Dead. I like some of the options but when it comes to all the weapon making and upgrading it just kinda complicates things to get to the same end result from the first game. I dunno. The verdict is still out. :screwy:

yeah... bit rubbish on that part. due to the fact that it will consume more power and memory. offline mode would be nice.
