Played it during the beta and it's the best 3rd person shooter on Android hands down. If you haven't downloaded it already go do it now. It's free and awesome.
If you're looking for friends on it I'm drev389
Go get it and shoot some people.
noted for future reference on my Note 2

I think it's weird how this phone comes preloaded with a demo of Nova 2 hd. Which I didn't try and uninstalled, but the game on the market doesn't support our device.
Anyone have any luck getting it to work? Was wantin some cool games.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
Yea, played it this morning. Kinda cool. But before you can play, the game had to update or something, like 300 mbs of something.
Nova2 for the i9100 works fine as does gtracing
Nova 2 is preloaded on yours?
Wait, it is only a demo?

Yep, just a demo. Visiting their site through the phone only gives Spiderman and UNO as options. There's a handful of other titles on the Market but none of their really big titles.
Being as the international GSII and the E4GT are basically identical I assumed Gameloft would have more titles listed as compatible at launch (especially Order & Chaos and Black Pegasus). Given their track record that was a bit presumptuous of me.
one of the reasons im getting the note 2 is to play video games. the second i get it (tomorrow) im purchasing most wanted. but besides that what games does the sprint version of the note 2 come with?

I must say dead trigger is absolutely awesome.. The first time I've ever felt comfortable with controls on the phone.. Due to the screen size

Just a heads up, EA's NFS Most Wanted and Dead Space are on sale for a limited time for $0.99. Sega is having a holiday sale on some Sonic games for $0.99 and Jet Set Radio for $2. Get them while they're cheap
Edit: Grand Theft Auto 3 and Max Payne are on sale for $0.99 as well as Dotemu games, Another World, R-Type and Raiden Legacy.

There is an app called Appsale
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...psales&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
I've been using this to get daily notices of sales.
Should we turn this into a "what's for sale thread?"
I found Avengers Initiative for $0.99 reg $4.99 and Office Suite Pro $0.99 reg $14.99 today.

I have the Note II and I'm getting a tablet but I'm not too up to speed on the tablet scene.
Anyone got any suggestions on which tablet out right now would be the best choice.
I'm thinking the Nexus 10 or the Galaxy Note 10.1 any other ones I should consider? Out of the two I listed which would you pick? I'm OK with spending up to $600, so the price really would not be a deciding factor.

If you like your phone to always have the latest version of android then go with the nexus 10. Otherwise I would go with the Note 10.1 or one of the Asus tablets.

I have the gt2 10.1, its a great tablet for the price. I would've like the note 10.1 but I managed to score 2 brand new tab 2 10.1's with 3 year extended warrantys 2 32gb micro sds and 2 notebook cases for less than 1 note 10.1 at xmas time from walmart. They're now 349 there. I got em at xmas on sale bogo at 299.

+1 on the galaxy tab 2 10.1. They also have an ir blaster on the wifi only which allows you to use it as a remote. Although most find it a gimmick I love it. My model number is gt-p5113.

I also had the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and now the Galaxy Note 10.1...fyi the Note 10.1 also does the remote IR blaster thing and it works very well, though I don't use it as I already have a bad-ass programmable (and fully programmed) touch screen remote control for my entertainment system. but it's there. and it does work nicely.
Yeah it works great with dish network I can browse my guide and set dvr and preview right from my tab even stream my dvr recordings over wifi

You laugh but I got my daughter the nabi2 because I felt it was future proof. It has better specs than either tablet you are looking at, plus it accepts an sd card.
It does require rooting to get play store, but once you do it is wide open. If you have a kid, get this tablet. If not, it's up to you

I said thanks for the laugh because the tablet is for me, a 38 year old, 6 foot, 200 pound male. I don't really see me carrying the nabi 2 around and I have no yong kids.
As far as specs, I looked them up and I'm pretty sure the Nexus 10 and Galaxy Note 10.1 both have better.

everyone likes to hate on them, but i tell ya, i love the holy crap out of my asus transformer prime. the device is slick as hell. the dockable KB is frickin' awesome.
i've had zero of the issues that others are vocal about. ('cept GPS, that's a fundamental flaw. i hear they fixed that in the newer asus tablets...)

Here's the the countdown link for it. 4 PM on the East Coast and 12 PM on the West Coast! I can't wait!! The first Dead Trigger is amazing!! I'm sure the sequel will be even better! The clips I've seen look outstanding!
I think a game this awesome deserves it's own thread!
