I was thinking about most wanted on the Note since I got horizon on console instead of nfs.
Regurgitated From My Giant Note II
I must say dead trigger is absolutely awesome.. The first time I've ever felt comfortable with controls on the phone.. Due to the screen size

I think it's weird how this phone comes preloaded with a demo of Nova 2 hd. Which I didn't try and uninstalled, but the game on the market doesn't support our device.
Anyone have any luck getting it to work? Was wantin some cool games.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
Yea, played it this morning. Kinda cool. But before you can play, the game had to update or something, like 300 mbs of something.
Nova2 for the i9100 works fine as does gtracing
Nova 2 is preloaded on yours?
Wait, it is only a demo?

Yep, just a demo. Visiting their site through the phone only gives Spiderman and UNO as options. There's a handful of other titles on the Market but none of their really big titles.
Being as the international GSII and the E4GT are basically identical I assumed Gameloft would have more titles listed as compatible at launch (especially Order & Chaos and Black Pegasus). Given their track record that was a bit presumptuous of me.
Has anyone tried The Bards Tale on their GNex? I would like to know how it runs before I download it on my device.
Thanks.

Its possible he might not the data for the download if its large or any other weird reason. Think before you talk please.

It's also possible it's a paid app that he doesn't want to pay for only to find out that it doesn't even work.
I've bought it however I'm low on data and would like to know how it runs before throwing my data away, its 1.3gb.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
It runs on my N7 (downloaded of WiFi at home) however I left it in England and only have my GNex with me in France.

Okay I've looked into it, I might actually purchase this because it looks awesome. Love RPGs but I saw reviews from the play store to internet saying it runs great with no issues. I did see someone mentioned Two versions of the game - HD/SD. I'm assuming you bought the SD version.
But yes the nexus seems to play it fine, I'm sure it might run a bit slower compared to a tablet lol but I will also say it will depend on your ROM/Kernel choice too. I'm sure there won't be issues but you never know .
Anyway hoped that helped, I really probably buy this but by the time I'm ready to purchase my info probably won't be helpful lol.

Thank you. There is only one version of the game, just when you download it on a device with Tegra 3 (Nexus 7 ) it will give you the option for HD data that's about 3.2gb. I'm downloading it now, I've only played about an hour on my N7 but it is an awesome game, very funny. I really recommend you buy it. I'm using stock JB with root and trinity, i hope it runs well.

I did, its a fantastic game so far! I'm playing with everything maximum/ water "on"/shadows all etc. Running fine with no lag.
I am however disappointed in the audio, its pretty low quality from headphones not sure about speaker. But damn its a wonderful game, this might be the only game I continue to play on my android. Besides Mcpixel another game I suggest you buy if love humor. I never usually play on my android but this game has got me skin deep lol.
Thanks for letting me know about this game.
Cheers

Great to hear, glad it works well. Still downloading on my crappy conection but looking forward to it, I get very bored on the ferry. Like I said, I haven't played much but for the price you can't go wrong, they say it has 20+ hours of gameplay. Have fun

Played it during the beta and it's the best 3rd person shooter on Android hands down. If you haven't downloaded it already go do it now. It's free and awesome.
If you're looking for friends on it I'm drev389
Go get it and shoot some people.
noted for future reference on my Note 2
Agreed best third person out there

Thanks for the info! I usually play this on my Note 2 with the PS3 controller. Almost 1st place all the time lol.
Just a heads up, EA's NFS Most Wanted and Dead Space are on sale for a limited time for $0.99. Sega is having a holiday sale on some Sonic games for $0.99 and Jet Set Radio for $2. Get them while they're cheap
Edit: Grand Theft Auto 3 and Max Payne are on sale for $0.99 as well as Dotemu games, Another World, R-Type and Raiden Legacy.

There is an app called Appsale
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...psales&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
I've been using this to get daily notices of sales.
Should we turn this into a "what's for sale thread?"
I found Avengers Initiative for $0.99 reg $4.99 and Office Suite Pro $0.99 reg $14.99 today.

As the title says: what games do you play on your note 3.
I've been looking for excuses to pull out my phone and game but everything now and days on the play store is either freemium garbage or casual games that really doesn't let this beast shine.
Go ahead and recommend other users some games and share what you play along with user names if it's required.

I tend to only play 'Hardcore games'. Like the graphically intense ones and online multillayer. Asphalt8, MC4, Anamoly KR, Bladeslinger GTA 3 and Vice City. Pretty much all the Gameloft games. Haha

I purchased the Final Fantasy 4 remake last week right after I picked up the Note 3. I have been playing that almost nonstop. It is a really great port of the original. I also enjoy some space shooting action in Galaxy on Fire 2. Its freemium garbage, but if you don't mind mindless repetitive space battles, there is no need to give them money for credits. I cruise around from solar system to solar system decimating the space pirate population. I really get into it. I also have FPse and use that to emulate a lot of the old PS1 games, not the most graphically impressive, but great fun.
I just started Shadowrun Returns, and i'm not usually a big game player, but i'm loving it so far
Spectral Souls, addictive RPG game and well worth the money. Still haven't beaten it yet.
i love gameloft games, but have not played any yet on the n3
right now i am just playing Clash of Clans, Plants vs Zombies 2, and various emulators
Hands down Real Racing 3, is the most graphically intense Game right now, in my opinion aways it's the best Game to show the powerhouse the note 3 is .

You got FF4 to work on your Note 3? I can't seem to get it to work on mine. I'm running DSv2 rom. Is your FF4 installed to internal or external SD?

Internal SD, running stock - haven't rooted yet
Edit:
To clarify, I am playing the FF4 remake that is available on the Play store
Weird because I can't. FF4 is auto set to external SD during the install. I would change to internal but it still doesn't run properly. I'm rooted & on DSv2 rom.

I play Max Payne on the Note 3 and GTA 3...both look beast on the Note 3. Tried to get Batman Arkham to work but it was a no go. :crying:
Bloon TD 5 and Bloon TD Battles. JetPack Joyride because its oddly addictive for me. I have a 2013 Nexus 7 so I usually play games on that and have a ton of them on there. I enjoy Cut the Rope and is great with the S-Pen.
