Lost Root after flashing rom - HTC Wildfire S

Hello
I just flashed the marvellous CM10 from djoliver.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206780&highlight=10+1
After flashing the rom and started superuser, superuser wants to update the su binary and i get 2 options to update it.
I can choose "recovery install" or "install" but none of these works.
It gives an error:"There was an error installing Superuser."
I cannot use Orange backup and a cople of other apps anymore because they need root permission.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'd probably try reflashing the rom. Normally you should have root after flashing that rom.

reflash the rom if it did not fix it then flash SuperSu zip

[Q] Stuck in Recovery (HELP)

Flashed a new recovery over, tried to install supersu from a rooting process. Rebooted into recovery then backed up rom, formatted everything etc. tried to install several different roms using TWRP and Clockwordmod. CWM gave me a status 7 error and TWRP gave me the error updating binary script. It also said that i had no root and would like to install super su to root it. i said yes and then rebooted and it still did nothing. the only thing i can install are GAPPS files and files that ARENT ROMS. Im stuck and I need desperate help on how to fix this. ODIN wont flash the stock rom thats a tar file but will flash recoveries. PLEASE HELP ME

Why does my SuperSU delets after flashing new ROM?

This started to happen last month..
I tried to flash LikeWise Rom and it was a success and when i tried to update SuperSU in the app it asks me to reboot,i rebooted it and SuperSU is gone and everything is messed up,i tried to install SuperSU in Recovery and it was a success but still no SuperSu, so i went back to my backed up rom(CM11) and it was completely working and it asks me to Update SuperSU in the app it asks me to reboot and it was gone again and i have to flash it again it was a success this time when i was at CM11..
What is actually going on...?
Anyone knows why does this happen..?
Superuser or Supersu is sometimes included in the ROM. Not all custom ROMs are pre-rooted. I know some Nexus 4 ROMs are not pre-rooted. It makes sense that supersu or superuser would be removed and replaced with the superuser/supersu version included with the new ROM.

Device Status shows custom but no root

I have a galaxy s3 I747UCUFNJ2 that I tried rooting with CF-Auto-root, installed TWRP recovery and managed to get SuperSU updated but when i go to open SuperSU it won't open with message: "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!" Device status shows custom instead of official. I dont want to have to totally wipe the phone just root with no custom rom.....
What am I forgetting??
Since you have TWRP, just flash supersu.zip from TWRP.
Try busybox from play store
Do you have Knox?
You might need to freeze it with TIBU or remove it.

SuperSU Binary Update "Installation failed !"

Since I rooted my Nexus 5X, whenever I'll go into the SuperSU app, it'll ask me to update my binary but a few seconds after I go to do that, it pops up with the message "Installation failed ! Please reboot and try again." However even after reboot it won't work. Has anyone had the same problem, or have any idea how to fix it?
Other things to know is that I'm using a Mac so if I need to use it, I'll have to use Terminal commands on Command Prompt, the version of SuperSU I flashed was Beta 2.56 and the custom recovery I'm using is TWRP.
Thanks in advance.
guessing you flashed SuperSU to your phone via TWRP. after you flashed it, did TWRP ask you again specifically if it should flash SuperSU?
if that was the case the solution is easy: repeat the process and decline that offer from TWRP, because that replaces the version of SU you initially flashed.

SuperSU 2.76 fails to install after update to H15

I've updated with the OTA from H14 to H15. I restored the stock recovery beforehand and the update went without Problems.
Before starting the update I tried to "unroot" which also was stated neccessary by SuperSU in two dialogs. But this failed and might be the origin of the problem.
Afterwards SuperSU could not find the su binary so I tried to flash it via TWRP 3.0.2.0 which failed after the line "creating ramdisk backup".
Next I tried to dirty flash the H15 Rom, which also went without problems, but the SuperSU install failed at the same point.
I've attached the logfile of the aroma installer, containing the superSU logfile.
The phone works for the moment, without root / superSU but I would like to have it back
Does anyone have an idea / need more informations / can otherwise help ?
