I inserted a USB with Windows to Go and booted Windows 8 from it. Now the system won't boot primary SSD. Error message I checked my BIOS and turned off USB boot but it still won't work.
Any advice?
Sorry this should have been in general I didn't check the thread title.

Try to boot USB stick again and copy bootmgr from there to SSD's boot partition

EDIT: try putting it to the same place both with name 'bootmgr' and 'ntldr'

I realize this is a double thread, but im having some issues using LGNPST.
I installed the drivers, and put my phone into download mode. I assume the drivers were included, since its an all in one program.
I try to run the program and it says the phones not connected.
I tried to replug the phone a couple of times. And i managed to get a nice IRQ_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS_TO BSoD.
So is LGNPST compatible with Windows 8?
Am i missing anything?

Either try a diff usb port or/and run it in compatibility mode (win 7 or xp)

Sweet success!
Problem was that the batch file was being denied access, even in admin mode.
Just had to physically run all commands in the console and it worked.

Try using wugfresh's tool to update it to the latest.
Goo has given me problems in the past, took a few downloads before it would actually install.
I figured it out. Once I changed the too.I'm download path to legacy from "0" everything was fine.

I had the exact same problem where GooManager wouldn't update TWRP. What I did was to take the Nexus Toolkit for Mac and changed the script file and just replaced the .img file.
Details here: http://www.hagensieker.com/styled-4/index.html
It worked like a champ but again this is a Mac solution. Also the Windows Nexus Root Toolkit will download and install 2.6.3..0 for you.

I wanted to install an OtterX ROM,i've completed all of the steps in the Hashcode's manual, and I can't push the ROM to my Kindle through ADB.
there's a error "device not found" in the console.
How can I fix it?
Does command
adb devices
Work?
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
ADB can't recognise Kindle.
"List of devices attached" - clear.
Problem with drivers,maybe?
There are no Android drivers at all,on this PC.
You never installed kindle drivers?

"device not found" is almost always a drivers issue
What windows version?
Win8.1
first shot - what does Kindle seems when booted into recovery :"Amazon OtterX"
second - fastboot, "Kindle"
It says that there are no drivers for both.

1. Open the charm bar and go into Settings and at the bottom click on Change PC Settings.
2. Go to the General tab and at the very bottom click on ‘Restart now’ under the Advanced startup.
3. Choose the Troubleshoot option followed by Advanced options.
4. Choose Startup settings then on next screen click on ‘restart’.
Windows 8 will now reboot and you can go ahead and install the Kindle ADB drivers

help me guys i have bricked my phone . now while im installing purekat in my desire z it keep on saying status 6 installation aborted .
My best guess is you have a bad download, double check that md5sum matches.
Or did you possibly unzip the ROM at any point?
One last thing, what recovery and version are you running?

The status 6 was probably due to a bad edit, guessing your using windows

No I mean 4ext recovery, should have a link in that thread
As for the status 6 don't use the ROM you unzipped and changed updatet-script or you will keep having those issues, redownload ROM and double check md5sums to match
Also be sure you have the dz eng bootloader

Sorry bro I don't know about md5sums !
Sent from my Explorer A310e using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Its a check sum, any file can have an md5 or sha1 or others. Know a specific check sum for a file and then comparing it to the same file after download can ensure you don't have a corrupt or incomplete download. Pretty much can ensure the integrity of a file
If your still not sure its just a quick Google search away
