Verizon Galaxy Nexus is Releasing Next Week As Per Store REP

Hello folks,
I had gone to Verizon store to get a new sim card for my Razr. As the rep was trying to swap my sim, i asked the rep if the nexus is available. She said not this week, but i should be able to get this next week. I asked her how much it will cost me on contract, she said 299.99$.
I asked if she had a demo that i can play with, she said yes and gave me one from the back counter.
So folks here it is, next week we are getting the galaxy nexus..yaaay..

im at a loss trying to figure out how you have been thanked 21 times.

I can confirm this. Went into radio shack and they had a galaxy Nexus that they let me play with. They said I could not turn it on but I verified it had Verizon branding and everything! They said it was supposed to be released today but was delayed because of Verizon's 4g outage! !!!

Lmao. Thanks for the heads up. This adds another confirmation about next week. There is a thread that pretty much states that they are releasing it on pretty much everyday starting tomorrow. On average there is a over whelming number of people hearing the 15th.

lol they can definitely turn it on. I played with one for about 10 minutes in the Verizon store today, on 4G.

Wow. Gullible as hell. It will be sold when it will be sold. They don't know **** at these stores. I'm still laughing about the 4g outage comment. Thank you for the laugh.

didn't you guys hear?.. I spoke to a hermit crab earlier that told me Verizon's discontinueing the Nexus to focus solely on Motorola phones.

Had called Verizon to reserve one on Monday, when we all thought they were releasing them today... Store rep. called me today, said it will available on the 15th to pick up.

Rezound is $649.99 at Verizon retail stores. Same with the RAZR.

$799 is what Best Buy charges for full retail, Verizon stores will be charging $649.99 like the RAZR & Rezound.

Verizon Rep: Launch is Thursday

Went to Verizon today and talked to a rep about the Nexus. He said he had gotten an email today stating that Thursday was the launch date. I asked if he had any in stock. He showed me a stack of 10 behind the counter, opened one and let me play with it - only while powered off. He wrote my name and number on a sticky , put it one one of the boxes, and said he would call me if anything changed but, barring that, he would see me Thursday at 10:00. Sweet!

I remember when a rep told me the release date was on the 9th. I've given up on when this phone will finally be released. Just hope it's soon already.

Yeah I stopped in one myself too. She had just had it out showing another guy so I messed around with it while we shot the ****. They still have the date set at the 15th, but I'm having a hard time believing it's going to come. We're 18 hours away from release and they still haven't told stores to put out demos, or even started advertising. The signs just aren't indicating the phone is imminent. I really hope it comes, but the pessimist in me is saying no way.

I signed up for the email alert for the Droid Incredible, I got the email stating it was out 1 week after it's release date so I wouldn't count on that as a sign of release.

I hope that this turns out to be the biggest blunder in vzw history, I'm a loyal vzw customer but this is ridiculous. Maybe blame it on all the forums... who knows, but this thing is going to have so many bugs and then it will be a solid wave of nothing but complaining. Mark my word!!!!

I take it you weren't there for the Droid RAZR launch. they made the biggest deal out of that thing and pulled the whole 11/11/11 11AM bit. they had these red lines/dividers in front of the stores in anticipation of all these people showing up for it...
at my local Verizon no one was in line for it 5min before they opened and apparently didn't even sell any that day(most other stores were similiar to).

You'd think so. I signed up for Razr alerts as well. Got an alert the day it went on sale, not the day preorders started, not before, after the phone was already for sale they finally sent an email.

I keep getting mixed feelings about this. I get all hopeful that it will launch and then it doesn't. This is some pretty concrete evidence but we saw "definite" dates in Verizon's systems before. Just taking this with a grain of salt and hoping that we get an official OK from Verizon tomorrow.

I think someone loosened the cap on the salt shaker....and now there are grains of salt EVERYWHERE

As long as it comes out before the end of the year, why does it matter? They never stated anything more then that....

i have confirmation that there is a 100% probability that it may be available on the 15th(possibly).

HTC One Mid Night Release Online?

I plan on purchasing my HTC One M8 online at tmobile.com
It will be my first time making a purchase from the online store on tmobile.com, does anyone know at about what time will TMobile put the phone up for sale on the website?
Will it be at midnight? Or will it be around 8-9AM similar to the time retail stores open?

Why not just go to the store tomorrow?

No point on ordering it on line and wait for a Monday shipping. I'll be in line at the store at 10am

My work hours are 14 hour shifts and store will be closed by the time I get off. I work Fri Sat Sun LOL will be Monday when Im off again.
If I do over night shipping I can have it on my door step saturday if im lucky or Monday morning.
Which is why im wondering if the phone will be up for sale tonight at midnight.

Already placed my order online.
It doesn't show up on the main page, you have to log into your account, choose to upgrade or add a line and it will magically appear.
Chose the expedite shipping for $24.95 cause I can't wait, ETA is 4/14.:good::good:

I chose Saturday delivery which was 24.99 so I hope i get it tomorrow since I will be at work all 14 hours today!

My store opened at 8 am and I was 4th in line, everyone was getting a Galaxy S5. While I was waiting for my turn I was playing with the S5 demo to see I'll change my mind in the last second...No thanks...I'll take the M8, which they only had 5 in stock.

I was the second at my Tmo store and there other person was getting a GS5, people that walked in after me were getting the GS5 and there were a couple samsung reps there. I was like y'all need to chill. The samsung rep asked me why I was getting the M8 and I was like it's 90% metal, I don't like plastic. He smiled and walked away hahahahhahaha

Just got mine! Loving the 3D camera mode.

I can confirm that WeakSauce does not work on this device because we don't have /system/lib/libdm-systemaccess.so on our devices.
That's okay, because HTC Dev will generate a bootloader unlock code for the device, so you can unlock the bootloader and root that way.

I trust you (trust me, I want it to ship today), but where did you get that information? I've scoured the internet and haven't found a definitive shipping date...

A customer posted it on oppoforums (he was told that via the support).
Don't expect the package to be on the move before Monday.

Indeed, got my "order processing" email on the 23rd at 20:00. Can't wait for my free stuff too!

Received an email that my device has shipped at 1am ET. I ordered the US Version in Midnight on the 16th. Just to give you guys some reference.

An FYI for you folks in the old country... They just opened up ordering for the international handset again, the expectation is that it wont be open for order long.

The rumor was that this was just for the remainder of the first batch that were left over after cancellations and such, regardless of the truth of that they are no longer taking orders for the international so hopefully you got in while you could if you were on the hunt.

Im in Europe and was thinking of ordering the find 7a tomorrow but how long will i be waiting do u think

If you're asking me I've no idea. They have stopped taking orders for the time being and this opening just now was only for a few hours. Oppo claims they produce two batches per week so you would think that the wait wouldn't be too terrible long at a guess.

Sooo, I didn't think I was getting this, but I got an email saying I was eligible last week. Anyway, this week will be 4 weeks since I received my phone. I'm hoping to get it by next week in case Google has any black friday/cyber Monday deals.

I takes a few weeks dude. They wait until the return period is over so you don't get a free $50. Last year with the home mini, it was right at 4 weeks if I remember right. So, it should come any day now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wait the full six weeks in order to get past the Black Friday deals.

But what are you all planning to buy with it? So far my options are the Pixel Stand or Skullcandy Riff. Leaning more towards the Riff, good reviews for $50, wireless & assistant too. As for the stand, they aren't that special, just another wireless stand. I see soon more certified and Made for Google wireless chargers coming in the future which could be cheaper than the Pixel stand.
Also, expires this Dec 31. So have to use it before that! So might just go for that Riff.
