Please help guys.
I installed perfectly the V10 Google edition "feel the experience" ROM with 4.2.2.
My APN settings seem to be correct but whenever I'm connected to WiFi I can't receive any messages until I turn it off.
I know there's no WiFi calling, I'm just saying in general if you're connected to WiFi you won't receive any SMS until you get back on 4G or LTE.
I'm trying to figure out if changing the channel mode of the mobile Internet will help but idk how to get on there using the dialer.
Last thing, I would have replied to the actual ROM post but it doesn't let me reply due to my low amount of posts as a new user.
Thanks!

Another quick question...
The ROM is based off an i9505 so maybe I have to flash over a tmobile patch or kernel or something?
What's a kernel do anyway?
Love you guys!

Hi Guys,
So, I've been using the GNex for about a month. I moved to this phone from a Moto Atrix and here is what I have noticed and have looked around but didn't see any good answers to these questions I am having. Hopefully I get some answers here.
Device info:
GNex GSM version on ATT.
Running JB 4.1.1 Stock with Trinity Kernel (rooted and bootloader unlocked).
Issue #1: I get really bad reception at work. But, when I leave the building, my phone doesn't automaticaly connect back to the network. Sometimes, if I don't check my phone, it's been like that all night long until the next day when I have tried to make a call and it said "No Network Available" and I have to either reboot or toggle airplane mode to get back on the network. Am I missing something? In my past experience with other devices, they try to automatically connect back to the network when they loose connectivity. Also, if I get in an elevator during a call and the call gets dropped due to network unavailability, it doesn't connect back to the network and I have to toggle airplane mode. Has anyone else had this issue?
Issue#2: This is with the stock mail app. Specifically the search in this mail app. No matter what, it always returns zero results. Has anyone had this issue with the Mail App? If I use the Gmail app, it works fine. That's what I am using now, but am curious as to what I may be missing that make it not return any search results in the stock mail app.
Q3: Speed Dial: How do you set speed dial on the dialer? Is it even supported?
thanks in advance,
vG

it could be to do with your radio, what version is it? baseband version in about phone. im no expert but when i flashed a jellybean rom i had to update my radio afterwards cause my signal was dropping alot. i also had the same problem later on but that was down to my network operator. before i realised it was them i googled my problem and a few forums suggested that my sim card was goosed. so maybe check those three possibilities? i cant help with the other two issues unfortunately but good luck sorting it out!

Ever since i have updated to the UVMC6 based ROM, my mobile internet is not working. I tried different ROMS based on Samsung base/CM10.1, but same result.
Anyone know how i can fix this? I tried looking at logcat, but found nothing obvious. Is there a log or something that i look at for more info? Any pointers would be helpful.
Thanks
can you recieve and send text/mms and when you goto settings> about> status whats you're signal giving you and what ROM kernel are you on more details please
Do you have the new radio listed in settings, about. If so, are you apn settings correct?? If you can text and make phone calls, but have no data I'd double check apn and radio, as well as make sure data is enabled.
Sent from my cell phone telephone....

Hi folks,
I posted in the main G3 forum, here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/mm-update-messaging-mms-doesnt-wifi-t3577069
So sorry to cross post, but on reflection I think this may be something specific to T-Mobile's implementation of the Marshmallow update on our phones due to T-mobile wifi calling.
Basically, when I'm on the cell network, but connected to a WIFI access point, and can receive cellular calls and SMS just fine, MMS messaging doesn't work, which includes group messaging. Messages just sit there "sending." Lots of reports of similar phenomena around, no real solution. Textra has a "T-Mobile wifi calling fix" that works for me, even though my wifi calling is switched off (I'm using the phone on ATT network). But I want to go back to Google Messages.
It seems the phone doesn't know how to use the cellular data in cases where there is a protocol-driven reason not to use wifi, in the case where the phone is connected to wifi. Basically, it's failing to drop back to cellular.
Any ideas here? I'll try anything!
Thanks
I have noticed this as well. I have not found a work around to send MMS over Wi-Fi calling.
I am unable to receive calls and texts when my phone is connected to wifi network. The call will go to voicemail and I won't receive any notification even when the phone's screen is on. Once I turn off the wifi, voicemails, and text will come in rapid succession.
If I again turn on the wifi, everything will work fine for next 20-30mins and then the same problem will come back.
I am on OOS 5.1.1 not rooted. My network is t-mobile. I have done a factory reset and explored multiple options on the web.
Users reported similar problems with previous versions of Oneplus.
My wife has one plus 5 and she is also having the same problem.
Any solution will be appreciated.
Same issue here
Rooted, OOS 5.1.2, T-Mobile.
I guess no one anywhere in the op5/t community has this issue except 3 of us? Anyone? Can anyone help?
@DragonMessor Hey everyone on T-mobile with this issue. I solved it. I had to go into the T-mobile app and then click the "more" tab. Go to address and then check the box that says "make this the e911 address for all lines".
That will lock in the VoWifi in and allow texts over wifi. My texts over wifi now work with no cell signal and even with wifi off. I am using google messages and I don't even have the option for advanced messaging in the app. Hopefully the OP gets this if he didn't move on to another phone yet and hopefully it helps someone. ?
