Has anyone else had your AT&T Galaxy Note 8 SGH-1467 reset the factory defaults for Calendar, Samsung Mail, GMail programs, and the default Keyboard upon every boot up? I find it really annoying to have to reset each of these settings everytime I turn on the tablet. Has anyone found a solution or have any suggestions for changing this such that the preferences I set remain like on my Tabs and S series phones? Thanks for your assistance in advance.

When i scroll through TouchFlo 3D everything works except when i land on the mail tab, at which point, Touchflo crashes and then immediately restarts. So i can use every tab except for the mail one. Apparently this has something to do with restoring the registry while the PIM.VOL is still active.
Is there a way to solve this problem without a hard reset?

Hi all,
I got a Desire HD a few days ago, and after setting everything the way I want it to be, I ran into a problem.
I installed Go SMS, and vaguely remember setting it to be default the app for opening messages. However, after installing SMS Unread Count, I realized it actually opens HTC Messages as the default. I did check in application settings to try and reset defaults, but the option is greyed out for both Go SMS and Messages
Also tried that ResetDefault app from the Market, but it did nothing...
Any ideas, apart from a factory reset?
Now this is really starting to piss me off. Just did a hard reset, installed only Go SMS and SMS Unread Count, and it still it won't ask me with what I want to open a newly received message... Also no defaults to clear in the app manager...
My first android phone, and things aren't looking good...
Any ideas? Anyone?
On my way to pickup new ATT SG3's and after that will drive to Sprint store to return the 48 hours old SG'3
I did *not* root the Sprint phones, only setup gmail and made home screen changes to icons.
I setup Samsung account and Sprint pushed several updates to the phones.
What is the simplest way to remove all of my user data from the phones and all my email accounts, messages (SMS and Google) ?
I read this but these do not have the option mentioned at bottom, is there a key sequence I can use to reset the data

I don't have this phone, but I imagine that you can find the factory reset under settings, and storage. I also found a whole bunch of info in Google.
"We're coming from a pure power source"
Settings> backup and reset.
Do a factory reset. Have fun with the data limits.
Sent from Pluto.
Make Sprint Work
If you have problems getting to the factory reset in the settings menu, you can just ask Sprint to delete all your data with you standing there. Be sure to watch them do it though.

Are you using any VPN service. If so then this service can make such conditions in many android device. Try to unistall any VPN app and delete VPN account from Network settings....
if still didn't work then it is better to do a factory reset
I don't have vpn... maybe another app that asks for password? but I didn't have it before and factory reset isn't ideal...
up please
try clearing credential storage.
settings - certificate management - clear credentials .
Recently I have been having problems with my m9 syncing email through both the gmail app and the stock email app too. Both need me to go on to get my emails. I have tried numerous factory reset and they sync fine at first but after a day or so, go back to my original problem. Does anyone else have this or have any suggestions to fix? Thanks in advance.
Most likely a background wifi issue or you have some silly app killer running.
No. No app killer running.
I have actually narrowed it down to only happening when Wi-Fi is connected. Does anyone have any fix or anything?
Apparently there is a work around or a 72hr cooling off period. Try waiting the 72 hours and if it wont let you login you'll have to try the workaround.
The problem is the gmail account wasnt removed before you reset it. Its a security feature introduced in 5.0.
The solution is you must gain access to the settings menu and reset the phone from the settings>backup and reset menu.

I don't know about you, but since I updated to Nougat, i'm having the same issue. Basically my contact, and calendar will not sync unless i turn off Power Saving.
and that annoying issue with the sound on priority mode..
any fixes would be greatly appreciated.
