What's the best Kernel for battery life and overclocking speeds? I got the Evo not to long ago and some of my previous devices(Thunderbolt, Incredible2) and or current devices are like overclocked about 1.5.
Highest you can oc to is 1.2 and most evos can only handle 1.1

I would go with freedom because its undervolted

Hmm the evo seems more powerful then that. But I'll look into one of those.

I've never run or used quadrant on my phone before.
I'm using an R800a
CM7 Lastest stable rom and kernel
Not overclocked
Hmmm.... in my case, running stock rom, oc to 1.6ghz and get 1489 only.... No bit different but you not oc.... I think it's good score for u, since you're not oc yet....
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
I don't plan to OC, I like my battery life
Then the score is good enough.... B-)

quadrant isn't a good test, use antutu for example
But many developers use quadrant....

If you are running below a certain battery percentage it will clock down automatically, even under load.

That is correct , it's to save more battery
Hey, so I am now ARHD user, but before I was on CM10. I loved the speed and that pure android. I had only one problem and that was battery life. So I saw that ncx kernel has pretty nice battery life. But is it still nice with the CM10? And should I get the extreme ncx or normal? Thank you all in advance.

My recommendation.
MildWild CM-7.0 JG Stable + MildWild CM 7.0 Beats + ManU HAVS-AXI-128 kernel
Set the lowest CPU FQ to 128Mhz, highest to 998Mhz and choose smartassV2 governer and voila.
You have a good looking JG style ROM with great sound for music, nice, fluid and smooth performance and great battery life.
gona try it..curently i use mildwind v 4,8..pretty happy whit it

I have tried both, never noticed any difference between them, BFS is supposed to be somehow better, CFS is on the other side supposed to be more stable, I think they both work very similar, and you won't notice any difference. If you want to experiment, flash one version, use it for a few days, and then flash the other version and use it for a few days. If you notice that one suits your phone better, use that one. But I really think that you won't notice a difference. I'm personally using CFS.
