Hey guys.... I'm running cm10 right now. I am not able to get 4G at all. I flashed goodness worthy and no 4G either. I have PRL 2000. I know it's gotta be modem because I flashed cm10 on my wife's S3 and she has LTE. Any help or ideas? Thank you in advance.

It's not the modem it's cm... read the cm thread and you will see its an issue in the nightlies. Only way to get 4g back its to Odin back to stock and then reroot etc....I believe the last nightly with working lte is 5/28....don't quote me on that just my best guess.
I had to do this and have just stayed with stock TouchWiz rooted till the issue gets figured out.

The weird thing is that my wife has the very same version of cm and she gets LTE. And I went back to TouchWiz and nothing. What I know I did wrong was flash the ma5 modem.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
She is on the s3 though no?...not sure if that version has the same issue. And you can't just go back to TW. you have to Odin back to stock, not just flash a TW Rom.
Trust me, I was in the same boat. Tried everything even flashing a stock Rom....and got nothing. Only thing that fixed the broken lte was an Odin to stock....meaning unroot factory default.

do you have a link to the stock rooted rom?
When i try to search the page times out
I'm having the same issues as OP, but on liquidsmooth & slimbean
I downloaded it a while ago....it's a flashable zip to bring you to unrooted stock. But I can't seem to find it....I had stumbled across it here on xda, I think I was searching for unroot and that's how I found it

Not guaranteed - AT&T source hasn't dropped yet, so they may wait until the end of OTA to drop.
At the least we'll be able to confirm that the eMMC lockup was patched or not.

AOSP Roms are doing just fine. I got an AOKP build built from source on sdx developers and android central. Its one build away from 100% stability. Im using a hacked to hell FF02 Kernel and it runs amazing. I was gonna release here but times_infinity already has it covered and development section here on xda is overflowing with Roms. And per xda rules I cant post links to my rom unless I support it here.

Stable is one thing but chewing up battery and wifi issues are annoying as hell. The wifi issues are pretty well known same with the battery in fact Phantom tried to resolve some of the issues in ICS flavor of FF18.
ok this a simple flashable .zip of the nexus 7 boot animation
this the nexus 7 boot animation from google I/O 2012, the boot animation was changed after release
if anything happens it's on you

Here's the nexus 7 boot animation, fyi...might want to change the thread title to indicate it's not the actual one from the tablet. It shows at 3:11 - it wouldn't let me embed the link that started it at the right time...kept showing error occurred...anyway, I was really looking forward to the one that's native to the 7...yours is pretty slick though bro.

FIXED: the og batteries have the nfc function built in, not phone or ROM related.
So it seems NFC does not work when you are rooted. Google Wallet gives a message of "unsupported device" and the link it provides advises NFC is disabled for security reasons when a user roots their device. I would hate to go back to stock just to get this function working (maybe will do so once JB TW comes out), but I did come across this link where it appears a mod was made to enable NFC on rooted devices for the S2 line (most of them, at least). Any chance a talented dev can work on making this happen on our device?

Hey
I'm new to these forums but I've read many topics discussing battery life for note 2. Now can you please tell me if these battery stats are normal for note 2 t-mobile. I'm currently on cyanogenmod 10.2 4.3 nightly. I'm also very new to android(coming from ios) so please don't mind if I don't understand android lingo. I have brightness set to manually where I would change it myself. Is this the rom causing problems or should I just go back to stock?
Thanks

That is flat out amazing, how did you do it?! I must know! What rom/kernel are you running? greenify? cpu tweaks? anything else? that is the best I think I have seen... and the theme looks good to! Please reply!
This i aamazing . I've seen battery life that lasts people couple of days but nothing with this kind of screen time.
The really surprising part is that he seems tto be on some soap rom... and I get poor battery life on those... and all that with 6hr on screen time. I'm flabbergasted

You need to be on a JB modem instead of a GB one

Flash a jb Rom flash a jb modem. Flash an ics Rom flash an ics modem. Whatever Rom you flash, flash it's modem. Do you even read the sticky threads?

And some jb Roms use ICS, like CM, AOSP. But like FuM said, read the OP and the stickies

The confusion was probably because the most current jelly bean modem is GB27, which as we all know doesn't stand for gingerbread. You're on TBS4, so GB27 should be what your "baseband" version says. If not, use pc odin or CWM(kindly included by g_ding on that rom) to flash it. Good luck, and let us know how you fair

Just saying to read the stickys. Every single thread you start is already answered in the stickys. A few of the devs on this forum even called you out on it. I even helped you out as well through pm and then you started another thread about the same thing. Just trying to keep the forum clutter free and encourage people to search.

What you posted is that you were on a GB modem. "Gingerbread" GB27 is JB "jellybean". You are not reading what people are saying, or you are not providing valid info.

look at post #9
You said you are flashed to a different carrier. For mms have you changed the proxy? Go to your dialer and push ##3282# push edit then enter your msl. If you dont know your msl tdunham has a msl fix. Once you get in look for mmsc. Change that url to what your carrier uses. As for data have you checked settings? If you go into settings then more settings then mobile networks set your network mode to automatic. Also what prl are you on right now?
