Guys, i develop uccw widgets and publish them on play store. This time I made a home screen setup and want to make a tutorial on how to set it up.
I tried recording my screen using screencast and z recorder but nothing seem to work..
Is there any other app or way which works on xperia S...
Thanks
Screencast is working flawlessly for me. Just make sure your phone is rooted.

"force gpu rendering" on, and "disable hw overlays" on (sry, i forgot )
Yeah, i've tried with these options, but no success, still bad picture with Z-Screenrecorder.
But! This is strange - i've installed again Screencast and tried and it works!
I've done nothing new from last try, nothing, just install again and try...

I don't know why now it's working and earlier wasn't, but i'm feeling good that it work now :good:

Hi everyone.
I found a Lock Screen app on market https://play.google.com/store/apps/...=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5jb25kdWl0LmxvY2tlciJd and I would like to share with you, because in many countries this app is not available yet. Install like normal APK. Enjoy

Would be gr8 if u share the name of app next time, so that people can test if it works via maket and also to see, where u got it from
It's called: "Quick Launch Lockscreen"

Do I have to set Android lockscreen to "none" in order for it to work properly?

Although this is obviously still in it's early development it looks very promising. You can swipe SMS notifications to non-stock apps. very clean looking theme is also nice. And I've just found that dragging the unlock cycle to the to of the screen will allow you to open up any of your most recent apps. Very good app considering it's not even released fully

Flashed via recovery

or you can switch to BCM and it's in built in the display options.

Just disable auto brightness, that will turn them off. It's a bug, not a feature.

Based on this thread i make a zip for our I9300.
Ι do not know if anyone use it. (I don't)
I did it just to see if is working or not and i share with you.
Tested on WanamLite ICS XXBLFB V1.5
Backup your system/framework/framework-res.apk before flash.
If anything goes wrong just replace the framework-res.apk from my zip with your framework-res.apk.
I'm not responsable if any boot-Loop caused by this or anything.
Thank's.

I had a bootloop on Omega 8.1 ROM after install that mod. Just restored original framework-res.apk...
Will this work with stock touchwiz?
this works for me on stock rom
bt then im usin nova launcher
Could you put any image to see how is it?
This sounds tempting and the only way to use a bluetooth mouse properly as without having a virtual back button I found myself tapping back button tons of times.

Can you open the camera app and see if it adjusts to the changed screen size after enabling the buttons? Mine doesn't, which makes the camera unusable with soft buttons enabled.

The camera is the only reason why I return to stock ROMs. Otherwise, CM9 is better in all other aspects. Then again, stock Camera doesn't work with soft keys and I hate the physical home button. Tough choice..

Or you can use nova, it's pretty smooth too. I use eXistenZ v1, I find absolutely no lag. Yet I've done some editing to my build.prop for smoothness by following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2376536 <---- that also helps smooth scrolling when using the browser or anything that scrolls really.

You can't fix that, I think it's a hardware problem. Even at mininum level you can hear the vibration. Sometimes when I get a call or sms I don't feel it, but I hear it...
I disabled haptic feedback for the keyboard, got used to it fast, and it safes battery...
