[Q] Take a photo while filming?

Hello everyone,
I asked a question about the Sony Xperia S. Is it possible to take a photo while filming? With a MOD? Or application?
(Like some mobile phone from Samsung or Nexus).
Thank you in advance for your answers.
(Sorry for my english, but I'm Belgian. I do my best )

We will get that on JB. Sadly, the photo will be only 1 MP.

It isn't screen capture. Is taking a photo while recording a video.

You have the whole UI on screen, besides the worser quality.

No display mirroring and find my xperia

Recently updated to jb via pc companion. I saw that there is no feature like display morroring and find my xperia. I am from india. Whats wrong in this official rom?

There's nothing wrong with the stock ROM. Xperia S simply didn't come with those features.

But it was there in the leaked roms. Some people with official update have also comfirmed abou the display mirroring.

Actually Sony never promised those features. And the leak you're talking about must be eXistenZ by Niaboc79, he as ported all the features in it. It's a modified leak atm.

It was removed from the leaked ROM. You better show me the source which you claimed some people received screen mirroring. I'm waiting.

Yep, works fine. Loaded it last night.
You might have to reboot after installing it, and you should find it in the "Xperia" section of your settings menu.

Partial solution
Got these apps installed from XZX2
Although 2 of them (screen mirroring) couldn't been installed
Still the settings is present
(if u have root...copy paste them into 'systrm/app'

Please help! Xperia ION is very lag

i'm using JB rom and my Xperia ION is very lag on every games and apps, such as Subway ,Dead Trigger.
I've tried to factory reset and clear all data. Try to use another ROM, but it can't fix these problems.
Please help me. :crying:

Install HONAMI framework, install HONAMI HOME Launcher, install Crossbreader, and why not install SetCPU and see what you can do with it.

i used to do like that. and factory reset. but the applications and games are still lagging.

There is a button called THANKS. It's really fun to press it

There is an app in themes & apps section which will boost your phone while playing game. I used to use that app to play NFSMS and no lag at all. Try it. I forgot the name. I think it should be something like xperia boost.

Of course it is an edited post. Type-O's happen all the time.

It's still lag with many games. i'm hopeless right now.

FullHD video recording fix (from .96) Work on CM/PA/AOKP/STOCK 211 below

Finally I found where the changes on .96 firmware
For ION user we still didn't receive .96 update but don't u cry

(after install this driver fix, you will lost your root)

The benefits are pretty obvious, aren't they? Fixed full hd video recording? Risks: nothing if u r clever enough to make a backup before flashing it.

There is a bit of lag while recording 1080p movie but while playing the same there is no lag.
This means it's working Good!

my xperia ion jb stock.211,i flash this mod and the video lagging on 1080p video recording is gone,but the camera is blur while video recording time,that means the camera autofocus at video time,and camera recording that blur video pls help me sir

It Works well. Just a lag during recording but not while playing it.
And i don't have much of a focusing issue. It's normal.

Works with OpenSEMC Android 4.2.2 CM10.1

Just flash it through CMW? Don't need any wipe?

Well, It was always a problem for these devices.
And for your problem, it would be better to judge if you post a sample video.

one steady problem between they is slowly or laggy launching system apps like setting menu especially messagin and phone dialer and contact

only stock roms are slow :/ try cm10
