Oke try this :
Download this ruu
http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...24-radio-5120416229-release-296434-signedexe/
Then put the phone in the bootloader and relock it :
Fastboot oem lock
Keep the phone in the locked bootloader (you also see a warning sign/text)
Now right click the ruu.exe on the pc and select "run as administrator"
It should flash the phone back to stock completely (kernel, rom and recovery)

Read my post !!! You don't need to wipe anything ! Relock the bootloader (check that it says relocked) and run the RUU !!!
You have no business in the recovery at this point !
QUESTION 1:
What does the top of the bootloader say, does it say ENDEVOURU ?
QUESTION 2:
Did you flash anything to the phone from another forum ?

After I got error while locking OEM I tried to get into TWRP.
1. Yup Endevouru
2. Nop. I flashed recovery with All in one toolkit. And then Ordroid and Viper x.
Entering twrp with a locked bootloader is of no use. Did you run the ruu ?

Ok now I have successfully locked and exe uted the RU. Then the phone Booted but every single process is getting FC!
Okey, your phone should be 100% stock ! Boot into the bootloader and perform a factory reset, reboot after that and check again. If its still FCing its a fault that we can't solve with software.

follow these steps
Relock your bootloader using the commend 'fastboot oem lock'.
Go into fastboot mode and type 'fastboot oem rebootRUU'.
Flash the new firmware using the commend 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'.
On first time running the commend you will see FAILED, don't panic and just run the commend again.
Reunlock your bootloader via HTCDev.
Flash custom recovery using the commend 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img'.
when you're done you can install a JB rom remember to flash the rom's boot.img

Are you starting the whole process over every time it fails to flash the new firmware?
i know it usually fails the first time the command 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip' is used, try this command again straight away after it first fails without starting the whole process again and it should work

You have to flash a ruu or a nandroid to get the phone back to 100% stock !
Hopefully you are storing precious data on the cloud ?
What's on the sdcard could be saved, if you flash back the custom recovery you can mount the sdcard as a diskdrive and get copy the data over to pc !
A ruu puts the phone back to its original (full wiped) state

A nandroid is placed unpacked on the sdcard of the phone. The boot.img from it need to flashed with fastboot. For instance a cwm nandroid looks like this
Clockworkmod\backup\time and date folder\backup files
A full wipe needs to made and then the nandroid must be restored from the backup & restore funtion in the custom recovery !
You can mount the sdcard as a mass storage device inside the recovery to be able to copy roms and backups to it when you don't have a running OS

Hi all
I have the HTC ONE X International TEGRA 3 version.
Could do with some help.
I've updated HBOOT to 1.28 and when i try to install aokp_ICJ422-V2.9.5.zip in recovery this is what i get:
updating partition details...
installing '/sdcard/0/roms/aokp_ICJ422-V2.9.5.zip'...
checking for md5 file...
skipping md5 check: no md5 file found.
assert failed: getprop("ro.bootloader") == "1.28.0000" ||
E:error in 'sdcard/0/roms/aokp_ICJ422-V2.9.5.zip'
updating partition details...
Then it says Failed underneath
This is using Team Win Recovery Project v2.4.1.0
Any help is appreciated
AFAIK it should work on 1.28 hboot but it seems that LorD made a slight mistake while writing the updater script...
Is there any way you could update the hboot even further?

I dont think i can as it was what was on the htc dev website and i just use the identifier token thats shown in cmd prompt
Ahem, hboot version has nothing to do with either htcdev or identifier token.
Please do:
fastboot oem readcid
And post the result here.

are you s-off ? is your phone a GSM M8 ?
Did you try the other method, just renaming the RUU to 0p6bimg.zip (<a 0 (Zero) not a capital o (O), naturally...)
What error do you get when the flashing of the RUU fails?
Like mentioned by clsA said, adb devices won't work in fastboot mode, it should be "fastboot devices" to check if it's connected

You changed CID and MID I take it?
CID - GOOGL001
MID - 0P6B17000
Would have helped a bit if we had an idea what the error was.

try and unplug the phone from the pc and hold volume up + power for 10 seconds
when the phone reboots try the ruu again .. if the bootloader says RUU in red don't do the fastboot oem rebootRUU command just go straight to flashing
The RUU flashes very slow are you waiting long enough ?

fastboot devices. shows device
fastboot oem rebootRUU. it reboots and goes to htc screen
fastboot flash zip 0p6bimg.zip. sorry renamed file. after i pressed enter, it opened another window and sent zip file. then it closed and now seems to not do anything.

you have the file renamed just copy it to your Ext - sdcard and let the bootloader flash it
don't forget to delete or rename it on the sdcard before you reboot again or it will flash it again

Yeah this pretty much tells me you didn't properly read the guide to converting your device to GPE. When I mentioned "the 0p6bimg.zip" method I kind of figured you'd know to place it on SD Card and reboot into bootloader so that the bootloader can pick up the .zip file and flash it from there. Flashing in from RUU sort of gave it away there
Method 1
No computer required. Everything else still required. s-off, super CID/gpe CID etc..
1. Rename the RUU zip file 0p6bimg.zip (if your hboot is looking for a different name then rename it to whatever it's looking for)
2. Place the zip on your external SD card
3. Power off your phone
4. Boot into Hboot (hold down vol down as you power on the device)
5. it will load the zip and ask you if you want to proceed
6. Say yes
7. Wait
8. Profit

Didn't say anything about flashing it in RUU mode.

Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Code:
fastboot flash zip RUU-HTC_One_M8_GPE_5.0.1-3.11.1700.5.zip

Just run the same command again:
Code:
fastboot flash zip RUU-HTC_One_M8_GPE_5.0.1-3.11.1700.5.zip
