Hey guys,this is probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering if anyone knew where the sound recorder is?
I saw it in my app manager ALL list but I can't find the app anywhere on the phone..
I'm CM9 & rooted

can you have any 2 apps running with qslide. For example can you have a youtube video in the background and text or surf the web?
Qslide works with stock video player only. Example, player and web, player and mms...

i believe the apk for this is the systemui.apk
i'm sure if we got a themer to take a crack at it we could change it to not take 1/2 of the screen
hi, i just flashed my device with wanamlite. im happy with the performance and stuff but the only thing im missing is the feature that when i pull out the pen there is no popup note. and i just notice the snote app is not included. i search the playstore but i cant find it there so i install the samsung app hoping to find the snote but still no luck.

Hi, have you tried the Apps and Themes Section?
There are a lot of apps that can replace the S Note, equally or even better :cyclops:

I'm looking for a transparent Google Voice widget. I've searched high and low on XDA and the web and have probably tried 8 different apks that claim to be transparent but they don't work for me. I had one working on my Epic but the transparency doesn't show on the Note 2. I'm running Sprint stock LJC rooted. Any help would be appreciated, but please, don't post a link unless you've tried it and know it works. Thanks!
Yo, sorry if this is too late, but I have a working one here. Tried it on mine running CM10. It's not 100% transparent, but pretty close. Hope this is what you were looking for. Let me know!!
I had to delete the old Google Voice first. Then install the new one.

Could you post a screencap for those of us leery of replacing apks for GUI tweaks without first having seen the GUI tweak?

Hi. I just noticed that my G3 gives visual feedback when you press an apps icon on the main screen and the app drawer. If I'm not wrong, it was not like that about 2 hours ago.

Just added some pictures so you guys can have an idea of what I'm talking about!
Mine has always done that
O.k. let me put it this way: is there a setting to turn that big box or square into just a glowing animation or maybe nothing? I don't want to root yet and even though I love the Google now launcher (just upgraded from a Nexus 5) I like the G3's launcher features. So my goal is to explore and enjoy the stock launcher as much as I can, beside, LG with their new UI has giving me the feeling that being skinned is not so bad after all...
Hey I know this is normal, but why can't the icons just behave like the ones above the nav bar that just kind of glow when touched??? Does anyone know how to make this different???

Exactly my point! Thank you for understanding my question! Anyway apparently there's no way to change that other than rooting or with a different launcher... Problem is that I like the G3's launcher and don't feel like rooting

Your welcome I also like the launcher and use it but I am indeed rooted and have done some nice things through it, mostly with G3 tweaksbox. But do you know how I can change this box thing with root access without using another launcher???

Personally I don't. I've read about it, don't remember where though. I don't have anything against rooting, is just that I change my phone very often. The last phone I kept for 2 years, rooted and flashed roms was a droid 2 lol. I used to love it!

I just rooted the G3, got myself the G3 tweaks box, have done some customization but haven't been able to get rid of the visual feedback when you press an icon-app on the home screen (see 1st post attachments for pics).
Is there a way to get rid of the feedback or just change the animation with tweaksbox?
Now that I'm rooted I'm willing to try other methods as well. As long as is not flashing a Rom or some crazy mods since I like the G3's UI.

A couple of new betas but no fix yet. I've even themed( just a few things cause I love the g3s theme) my phone using the g3tweaksbox, love it! I knew it was a great app since the beginning so I went for the paid version. @P_Toti is very busy working on his new official release but if my request is in that launch a donation will occur.

Yes, it is indeed a great app, I've got the paid version too ? and have also themed only a bit! I guess we have to be a bit more patient but I sure hope to see a real fix via the updated playstore app very soon, would be awesome ?
