[Q] Use 4.1.0 Stock Messenger app on 4.0.4?

Hi guys, after seeing the stock SMS app in JellyBean, I was wondering if it would be possible to use this app in 4.0.4 without issues? I really love the look of it, but I don't know if there would be any serious issues with it running in the ICS environment.
If not, anyone know of any third party apps that can match the look and feel of JB sms?
