Hello,
I am new to this and would be very greatful for some help. I would like to root my epic but can't seem to find any current root files. I have looked all over the fourm but everything seems to be old and I don't want to brick my phone with the wrong files. If anyone knows of a current root file that would be very helpful. Thank you in advanced for any help.

Odin a CWM 5.0.2.7
Then get a Superuser package (androidsu.com)
Flash that in CWM
As simple as simple can be. Detailed operation and links could.be searched if you seek harder. Good luck

Hello Guys I need your help please, i am going nuts over this.
I recently rooted my Galaxy Note 2 N7105, then days later my external sd card went, then now it can't connect to wifi or mobile data.
I have downloaded
Samsung-Updates.com-GT-N7105_MM1_1_20121012152856_ah7cer98dy
and have been trying to download the latest Traingle Away.apk for my device but all of the link are either bogus or i keep getting sent to google playstore which is pointless since my device does not currently have a data connection
PLEASE HELP !!! i just need the the Triangle Away.apk file so
Look at the devs thread

Now i know most of you are experts at what you do and my questions may come across as stupid to you, if you can help that will be great thanks.
Ok i give up ..... Note 2 is going to scrap heap since If anybody wants the hardware to do whatever with let me know
Why don't you just flash a new firmware through Odin after downloading the Rom off of sammobile.com. maybe that will sort your phone out for you.

This is the dumbest thing I read for a long long time.
In order to get proper help you need to explain your problem properly.
What is the issue and what are you trying to achieve and for what reason?

Nice Can I have it??
OK, now seriously, did you flash it with new Rom? It should help. You don't need Triangle Away to fix it. Don't give up, keep trying
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
Im far from an expert but let me help out. The app he is trying to use to fix the original problem needs a network connection be it data or wifi. His problem in the start is his phone cant get either..
Jeeeeez some peoplec
read what I put, not what you think I put.....
you have the firmware - just odin it into your note 2 or try one of the custom roms and see if it fixes your problem. you do not need triangleaway unless you want to return the device or use your warranty; it does not make your phone run any better
I've tried many different ROMs but would like to try king droid on my n2 but the all the links I find seem to be dead ends or in a language I don't understand. Would someone be able to point me in the direction of a working link...
I have searched the forums and I am in able to find any help on this matter. So have started a new thread .. sorry if there is a thread out there about this..

Every time I fry to flash a new Rom I can't find it on my drive even though it is definitely there. I've been flashing since my G1 and have never had this problem. I suppose I could use Odin but u don't want to. Anyone else see this?
