So just wondering if it's possible to make all menus open in the bottom or bottom left corner. Example, when I press my menu key in Gmail the menu opens at the top right of the screen where it's hard to reach during one handed use. I'd like all my menus to open bottom left so I can use my phone with one hand. I've tried hybrid settings but both phone/phablet modes don't seem to change that behavior.
Thanks

Personally I have never seen a menu open anywhere else other than the top right, with a few rare exceptions. Hopefully someone else has more knowledge on this to help you.

Hello everyone,
I just bought my desire and the first "annoying" thing is that I can't go back without using the hardware button. It would be nice to go back using a gesture like a slide from left to right (similar to the home pages navigation).
Since the display is quite big, you need to do some 'trips' between the upper part of the display and the bottom where the button is located.
Is there any utility tool which can accomplish that?
I assume because it would be rather confusing. What happens in apps that use the swipe gesture? If "back" is hard coded into the swipe gesture for the entire OS then apps can't use it. In the photo gallery swipe is for moving from one photo to the next...but if I accidentally try to share a photo and want to get out of that dialogue then I don't want swipe to move to share the previous photo instead...I want it to get out altogether.
I agree..in some applications makes no sense. Anyway, I need to have at least a soft button to go back on the upper or bottom of the display. Another solution is to have the back behavior only on some portions the display.
There is another problem which bothers me . The fonts are not so smooth..it looks like no clear type is available. Every letter have some very small pink pixels on the left side.In fact this applies for every vertical line. Is this normal?
has anyone else this pink pixels?

Er...no...never seen this. You need to get that checked.
RE pink pixels.
See this article and this XDA thread.

I'm running Cyanogen 7.0 and am wondering how to add an extra 4th quicklaunch button (the buttons that appear at the bottom of the home screen) The Androdian theme seems to shows 4 buttons in the picture, however 3 buttons still appear when I switch to it =( Is there an option somewhere that i'm missing? I've been through the menus a few times and can't seem to find anything at all.
Thanks.

when at the home screen, press your hard "menu" button and go >more>awd settings> the option is in there some where, but not sure exactly lol
Thanks, got it
Does anybody know how to enable the onscreen menu buttons? For example, in chrome on the Galaxy Nexus the menu button is shown as 3 dots in the upper right hand corner. The actual menu button on the Galaxy Note 2 is so hard to hit using one hand but the on screen one is so easy.
Try this:

Thank you but that's not quite what I'm looking for. That thread shows how to add the on screen buttons on the bottom. I don't want the onscreen buttons, I just want the menu button that appears in the apps in the top right corner.
EDIT: I figured it out, I'm going to update the OP.

Has anyone figured out how to enable the 3 dot vertical menu button on the Verizon Galaxy Note 2? I had CM10 on my S3 and its driving me nuts not having it on the Note 2! Any input would GREATLY be appreciated!
Chrome has a nifty free tool called Split Screen where you can have two URL's side by side on a single page.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/split-screen/eachfleknamlcepmplpdghagngjfjkin?
Very handy for language translation or to keep a series of parallel bookmarks for related items.
Is something like this available for our tablets ?
You can simply load two Chrome browsers in MultiWindow mode.

From the homescreen, swipe open the multi window bar, hit the Chrome icon and drag it over towards the middle of the screen and let go. As it is the first one you are opening it will fill the whole screen. Swipe the bar open again and then drag a second Chrome icon over the screen but keep your finger on it... as you swipe over the first half of the screen, one side of the screen will turn blue... if you want it open on that side just let go of the icon. If you keep dragging the icon over to the second half of the screen, the second part will then turn blue and you can drop it there and Chrome will open up a second time on that side. Hope this is clear enough

Hi folks,
I don't know if I'm just being thick and I can't find the answer on google, but is there a way to change what app is on the left side when in multiwindow mode? I can't seem to figure out how to do that if there is even a way.
Thanks!

It's not that difficult. When you see the cards of recent apps then long press on the card you want to choose. Then you can drag and drop it to the left or right

I meant while you're already in multiwindow mode, you can't seem to change the app that's on the left side. Alt tabbing and pressing the recent app button brings up the carousel on the right side but no way to swap the left side app

I've noticed that the first app will always stay on the selected side. So when you drag the app to the right side the carousel will always appear on the left side and the other way around.
It's still not very intuitive but nevertheless I'm finally happy to see multiwindow support on Android N

One caveat to that - I've noticed that if you open an app from a notification, it opens in whichever window is "active".

Oh damn right! Completely validates this Pixel C purchase I think haha. Wow I never thought of dragging apps to the right side instead. I think I always long press the recent apps button to start multwindow mode and it defaults to the left side.
To answer my question I've been dragging the middle bar all the way across to open up fullscreen (making the secondary app the primary app) and then going back into multiwindow mode and opening up another app as the secondary.
