LTE-Proof

Is the Note 2 really worth getting? Do we know if its LTE proof for TMobile? Or would we have to upgrade to an LTE version when LTE rolls out?

I think the TMo version in HSPA+ only
If that's the case, no point in T-Mo customers upgrading right away.

Will S3 work on 1700/2100?

From what I'm reading it looks like the Rogers s3 will work on 1700/2100 frequency, is this true? How would I go about doing this?
Get on a carrier that uses those frequencies I would imagine
Galaxy SIII via XDA premium
You're the one reading, is it true? Does it work on those frequencies?

Lol, okay, I mean't like do I need to flash a modem, or will it work if I just unlock it. The question was pretty simple if it works on 1700/2100 and if it does do I need to flash a kernal or do I just unlock it.
so will the telus, rogers, bell or at&t work on 1700/2100 frequency via flash or?
Rogers sgs3 uses those frequencies for lte only.

Sprint in Afghanistan?

It's probably impossible to get signal here in the Stan right? I see in the roaming options for international but this isn't even an international phone.

As far as I'm tacking Europe runs on GSM only. So no the CDMA version of the galaxy II isn't global.

MTS runs a cdma network in eastern Europe. I'm pretty sure Afghanistan doesn't have any cdma available though.

How to change bands on my Note 2?

Hi guys, the I have a N7105 LTE with baseband ver.N7105ZHALI5. Problem is this is a international phone and it doesn't support the lte bands in Canada. I'm with bell which has 1700/2100 LTE bands. What should I do to enable these bands?
Thanks!
Try different modems.

Not sure if this helps you but as far as I know, you can access LTE on the Rogers network. I don't think you can actually use the N7105 on the Bell for LTE.
Would 7100 modems work?
Thanks
Nope.
