I'm going through a seperation/divorce (again) so I've barely got time to flash nightlies let alone update links. Does anyone know any rich single girls?
For Screen flickering issues try going into Settings-->Developer Options-->Disable HW overlays
Here are some added links for quick access. Please hit justin860s Thanks Button for his time and work! Without these group of devs, most of us would be running stock firmware :crying: I suggest browsing the AOKP thread as well to see if any bugs that you are experiencing are also present on other CM10 builds. There may be a fix not posted in the CM10 Q&A thread so typically I'll look elsewhere before asking. Or use this ----> Advanced Search for At&t S3 forums

lmgtfy is unhelpful
In the interest of making the OP as maximally helpful as possible, could you replace the "lmgtfy" links with actual links?
If you're looking for the Google Apps for this ROM, you want the JellyBean ones from one of these two sources:
http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps
http://goo.im/gapps

Otherwise, thanks for the useful post.
will this be on 3g or lte 4g. I loaded the previews build and kept going from 3g to hspt. I'm on rogers?

I followed in Cyanogens footsteps by not directly linking to them... I am not sure if it was a legal issue or not but if you look at his posts he always says search for them - his quote was "Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them."

All you have to do is fix APN settings.
Sent from my Motorola DynaTAC 8000X
Google had asked that gapps not be packaged with cm. So they stopped including them

i know that on AT&T you get 3g, H, and 4g
You might want to check ot make sure you have the correct APN
APN - ltemobile.apn
MMSC - http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS proxy - 10.128.1.69
MMS port - 80
APN type - *
All other values leave as default.
Is starting this new thread even necessary? I'm fairly sure cyanogen will eventually change the Preview thread to Nightly.
EDIT: But, if you take the time to update your OP with known issues & workarounds (as I see you have already), then I'm all for it. :highfive: BillyG!

The information was outdated and the conversations in the thread were based on the preview builds... I contacted the forum mod and explained to him that I posted this thread and if they need it shut down - to do so.. We will leave the rest up to cyanogen and the mods. Just trying to help the people asking where to get the nightly and the new gapps... if Steve wants this thread shut down its perfectly fine for me. The donate link goes to him and I made it clear that it was not my rom or my build.
well, i am interested in seeing this progress!

the progress from now forward is primarily feature additions... this rom is surprisingly smooth and well put together... there are very few bugs and at the rate the team is working, they should be squashed soon..
Fortunately or us Cyanogen himself is working on the AT&T and T-Mo versions! :victory:
If you want(or need) to point folks to the Q&A thread for CM10, go for it. It's pretty much questions and answers from all sorts of folks. I think it can handle the additional traffic

You can try to install by wiping cache and Dalvik.... If you do run in to problems then do a full wipe

You should always fully wipe coming from another ROM.

ParanoidAndroid is a cm10 based rom.... Should work w/o full wipe.... Like switching from aokp to cm10 and back
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
It would be a good idea too even though Paranoid is based on CM10.. you can try just wiping Cache/Dalvik and if you have problems then do a full wipe. But Im no expert! Just a dude on XDA!
Hi there,
I have compiled 3 ROMs for the find7/7a using cm sources. The links are available in my signature. It has already been tested on android-hilfe by a few of my friends as I don't own the device.
Feel free to flash them and let me know your feedback. If all is well, I will create one thread for all 3 ROMs as I maintain too many threads already.
On the other hand, if someone is willing to maintain 3 separate threads, be my guest.
I will be uploading CRoM v7.1 later today. CRoM and BEANSTALK are 4.4.4 builds. AOSB is 4.4.2 which will get updated in a couple of days.
Have fun guys...

Nice!! thx!!
But i have to ask will it support x9077 find 7 QHD? As I have read from Chinese OPPO forum that x9007's rom can not fit x9077
No. Only x9006/9007.

Excellent work mate. I contacted AOSB just yesterday asking for a port - and this is actually the first time I have used it; it looks and behaves a lot like JellyBam. Strange, I wonder if there is any relation?
It will get official recognition with the next build meaning you can use the ota to download future updates, but I will still be building them.

The pist I made right after it should have cleared this up but it was not very explanatory. They have not released it yet. See here for gerrit No doubt Chasmodo will just chuck it up on goo.im when it's finished. You could follow Chasmodo on G+ here which will give you gerrit and update posts etc
Not trying to be a PITA, and I know you answered the Find 7 question previously.
I noticed the ROIMS are labeled Find7 vs Find7a. I know that CM has gone to combined nightlies, so I'm wondering if that is trickling through the other ROMs
Hey everyone! Just wanting to see if anyone wants to test a brand new 4.4.4 AOSP based ROM for the Gnex (toro only). There are a few issues that are already know such as:
BUGS SO FAR:
Screenshot animation looks weird (screenshots turn out just fine though)
Bootani does not work, stays a black screen but it WILL boot.
KernelTweaker setting will FC
If anyone wants to check it out, you can download it here:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567716208
I'm calling this a BETA build since not everything works, however, I could consider it a daily driver.
This ROM was built for the Gnex (toro) by me, however, all credit for the source goes to OctOS.
Nice! Pulled my old Galaxy Nexus out of the drawer to test the build on. Please note, you need to be running CWM 6.0.4.3 before you attempt flashing or it's going to fail. Booted and running fine here once that was in place.
Bugs as noted are present on my device as well.
No one else with a Toro wants to test?
Bugs have been updated for Toro in the OP. Still need some people to test this!
Making progress! KernelTweaker option no longer causes an FC. Still working on bootanimation fix and screenshot animation issue.

That's right lol. It actually should work since it's CWM. Only differences should be touch use.
Only 1 bug remains! The bootanimation is killing me lol. This latest build as of 7/20/2014 is definitely a daily driver. I can add in the bootanimation myself before uploading. Hopefully we can get some more testers for Toro, this build is just about ready to go and is packed with TONS of features!
Can you fix the download link, please? Thank you!
I'll build again now. Upload tonight and post in the morning.

Went ahead and uploaded it and posted the link. I forgot to add the bootanimation though, so it will still be a black screen. Here's the bootanimation if you want to add it manually.

Well, I don't know... it might become official someday, I guess we'll have to wait to see.
So far, this unofficial build is the best option available for me, and I'm using it as my daily driver.
So, if you want, you can enjoy it, or you can simply choose another custom rom and move on...
Btw, in case you didn't know, there was an official build that was discontinued some time ago, you can check the official website for download. But the thread was closed and the rom is probably ''outdated'', so it won't be of any help if you want to report bugs and get support...
