AT&T GS3 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Morning all,
I have a new AT&T GS3 and am very confused if it is bootloader unlocked out of the gate, or do I need to unlock it? If I need to unlock what is the safest way to do so?
Thanks,
Steve

The I747 bootloader is unlocked. Check out the I747 link in my signature for more information on how to proceed. Cheers

Does the E4GT need an unlocked bootloader?

I was reading some info on the Galaxy Nexus being released on Verizon today. One article talked about unlocking the bootloader right away. I was wondering if this is necessary/recommended/even possible on my E4GT?
If someone could explain an unlocked bootloader, I'd sure appreciate it.

honestly you should check out the stickies and the wiki for our phone for all the info you will ever need but there is no need to unlock bootloader when rooting our phones... Like I said check out the wiki for our phone and you will find all you need
Straight from the factory, the bootloader on this phone is not locked. This is a good feature from Samsung from the standpoint of a XDA user.

[Q] Unlocking Tilt2 when it doesn't ask

Have a "locked" AT&T Tilt2 with a good AT&T sim. I want to flash it to Android, but can't because it's "locked" I have the unlock code, but the phone doesn't ask for it (presumably because it's a good AT&T sim).
How do I unlock this? Is there another way to enter the unlock code?
Would appreciate suggestions for the best Android ROM for this phone.
TIA

[Q] What to do with my locked Samsung note 2 ( SGH--I317)

Hello everyone
I just got a note 2 off mining and it's locked to Bell. I want to unlock it to work with other carriers. I know that there is a way to self unlock but you need an older version of android. My note is 4.3 and I read that trying to downgrade will get my device bricked. So, being new and unexperienced at this, can someone recommend me what to do? Is there a safe way to downgrade from 4.3 to 4.1.1 or should I just pay someone to unlock it? If the latter, is there a really cheap online unlocking for Canadian carriers?
Thank you for your help

New to the device

Hello, I just got a s8plus tmobile version.
Do I need to unlock the bootloader?
Is it even unlockable?

Sm-g960u Tmobile questions.

Hello, I'm semi new to the root process (I've rooted my s4,s6 and s7). My only thing with the s9 is that I find threads saying that you cant unlock the bootloader on the u.s model s9. When I Google how to unlock the bootloader I find that all you need to do is OEM unlock and bam its unlocked. I have taken no further steps past that because I need to verify of that actually unlocks my bootloader. I'm looking to get magisk running on this phone. My question is if its possible?
