I had to remove the IMEI post, since the ref guide, and all IMEI guides have been deleted.

ok, why have all the IMEI posts been deleted? I had some very good educational information in of the threads (link in my signature) that is gone. can I recover it somehow?

you know, I think it has something to do with the fact that it led people into spoofing/changing their IMEI numbers. but can you give me a name who I can contact?

Unroot
If I'm trying to unroot my phone due to the touch screen isn't working and the screen is almost black. Will there be a way for them to see the flash counter. I wasn't able to rest that before the screen went black. I'll be sending it back through the best buy geek squad.

If a mod was reading this thread he would have already deleted this, as wrote in the forum rule: do not post in the wrong section, otherwise the threads will be deleted! (not only moved)
A mod will delete this when/if someone report this thread as violating the forum rule!
Lot of threads like this in the desire general and in desire q&a..No root if u run the official gb ruu, just wait the update from alpharev/revolutionary, if the update will ever come.

Anyway there are people that s-offed it with an xtc clip, search on google for it, or going to an htc service center that "apparently" can downgrade ur device to froyo for you

There seem to be a lot of n00bs on this thread, I hope this helps answer some questions.
From Android Forums, here is a great definition of what Odin is:
"Odin was software that was first leaked back a couple years ago from Samsung. Samsung uses or used it to "flash" or "install" firmware/os/kernels/radio's onto the devices."

Looks nice and all, but I will never install another one of your builds, the way you have installation set up, it hijacked my whole phone and screwed up the partitions and even had trouble getting into recovery again, all said and done I still had to re-root phone, never again, your builds need to got to a traditional way of installation like everyone elses so it will not screw their phones up and give them problems.....thanks but no thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but aroma installation is almost the standard method now. What's different?
@Arctic Prodigy, if you paid close attentions or even read the post, you'll know that the ROM is not mine! I CLEARLY Stated that It is not my work, i am just posting it here to benefit the respectful people of XDA Forum. Other than that, please read the Changelog, and don't judge without trying. Doesn't matter whose ROM it is, if it happens to screw peoples phones up they should know about it, may not be your build, but you are definitely providing it.

OP seeing that you requesting the thread be locked, can you also delete the download links? Are you not wanting the Rom to be downloaded? If so, please delete the download link from the 1st post.

I've seen plenty of dark themes, but they might have some brown or blue but 'm talking about real dark/black.

I posted here because:
1. It's a themes section (it's called Themes and Apps).
2. I've got a Sony device.
3. I can't find a section on xda where there are as many themes for sony devices as in this one.
4. I'll install cm as soon as we can unlock the Z3c bootloader without DRM issues.
However, it seems that I'm wrong with all my assumption - given that you are much more senior than me, maybe you can point me towards a more appropriate section of xda where I can ask my question, instead of telling me what not to do? (no irony/anger - I really mean it, any help is appreciated)

4: you can back up your DRM keys, unlock your bootloader and restore then the DRM keys
No you are not wrong buddy and i told yet where you can find the themes or what todo and i know it is not irony or with anger meanings.

There's not a method for restoring the DRM keys for the Z3c yet
and yes, I have tried on google play and other threads but can't find anything, hence the request here.
Anyhow, this is going nowhere, it seems.

My nephew bought himself a sony smartwatch, but his phones operating system is too old for the watch to link (Huawei Ascend p730 with jellybean 4.2.2).
Everything I found was a custom ROM with the reference to this forum. When I try to download the ROM i have to get through some Survey where I have to buy some ringtones or movies.
Is there another and free way to upgrade his phone so he could link his watch? The watch demands at least the 4.3 version of jellybean.

Can you link me any roms that have those surveys? Redirect links are not allowed on xda and I've never seen that in any rom thread here.
Try posting your query in Ascend P7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/help. Other Ascend users may be able to help you.

Ah I see. It's a totally different website. If you check the Ascent P7 forum I linked you you'll find the development sections. All Ascent P7 roms on this site are there. If you take a look through you should find something.
