Apps2SD - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

So normally I use a script and script manager to switch the internal and external memory, however that only seems to work on TW based Roms. Anyone know of a trick to do the same or install apps to SD on a aosp/CM10 based Rom? I've tested Rom tool box it didn't work, I've tried 4 different apps2sd apps from marketplace with no success. And 11gb just isn't adequate space for my personal needs.

No one? Seriously? Everyone who uses asop/CM10/aokp has been content with that measly 11gb of internal installation storage? No one has found or made anything to allow us to swap/ switch to apps2sd?

I use this instead of changing internal and external:
FolderMount
So no, I am not happy with the measly 11GB...

Deleted.

Gonna check that out, thank you Shaolin

[Q] move2sd or link2sd?

for the pro member here, what is more effective? move2sd or link2sd
base on free memory and performance .. tnx
Personally... NONE
Use Titanium's backup batch option and move the apps that you want to your sd card
really? none? why?
IMO, link2sd is good (since i havent tried move2sd), since it moves lib and dex files too. i think titanium only moves the apk file, isnt it?
do anyone tried data2sd?
Move 2 SD usually moves internal memory installed app to sd and it is very effective if you have low internal memory left.
I use "DroidSail Super Move 2 SD" it is free on market and does what I need.
I have already moved unnecessary apps that does not needed to be installed on internal/phone memory, for ex: Facebook,Twitter etc.
If you find difficulties for using this app PM me...

Need help putting game SD data on Ext SD

I'm really not liking the fact that game data doesn't store to default in Ext SD. I have 3 games with SD data of around 3.3gb which take up precious storage while my Ext SD sits free.
When I move these data folders to the Ext SD,the games ask to download data. Currently I have uninstalled those games (e.g NFS most wanted 1.8gb) because I have my nandroid back up and titanium back occupying around 2gb.
I have tried using link2sd/partitioning my Ext SD with Ext2 format, but that only installs the actual apk to the Ext2 partition while the game data still sits on the Internal SD.
I also tried directory bind but that often causes android to freeze untill I pull out my battery.
So please if any body knows how to place SD data on Ext SD and games are able to trace the data there, please HELP!

Was gonna suggest directory bind but you already tried it.
It works fine for me, no crashes when re-linking NOVA3 to Ext-SD.
I'm on stock ATT ICS 4.0.4 rooted.
just swap the int,sd with ext.sd card.
if you are on GB or ICS then you can do that esaly. there is a thread about it.
for JB (4.1 or 4.2) still isnt working.
Can I get the threads link?

Just flash light Rom version 9. The aroma installer asks you if you want to swap the internal with the external. I did it and it works great!

That ROM had a few bugs that I hated. For instance it repeats notifications. So I restored my rooted stock ICS by Dman after about 5hrs.

Well I am using it and so far so good. I especially like that lightRom fixes the GPS as well.

Installed:
CWMR5x_i927_recovery.tar.md5
ICS 4.0.4 LiteRom 0.9.0
LiteKernel
I was able to switch both SD's via the link given by lorddavid. So now my Ext SD is seen as internal storage while internal is seen as Ext storage. Hurray

Correct me if i am wrong, but with all android phones, the internal storage is partitioned. 2 gigs are used for downloaded apps, another couple of gigs are used for the system and the rest of the remaining storage is used for the downloaded data within the apps.
Also try moving some of your apps to the SD card. It will help free up some storage in that 2gb partition.

Ou might be right for the partitions but ive never had this problem before. I think something messed up perhaps the partitions? I moved all my apps to the sd card the problem is still there. The bigger storage in the phone just iant being utilized or sonething like that.. I was on the embryo rom for good 4 -5 months had ****load of apps and never had an issue.. been running jedi rom for a few weeks and encoutered this problem. It just doesnt make sence.

I had this same issue on jmt v5, I have no idea what caused it or how to fix it I tried everything, it's like the Rom won't store anything anywhere but the system partition, it's very strange, I switched to embryo Rom by Mohan, all the great touchwiz stuff, very fast and stable, only difference is no Wi-Fi calling, but if u can handle that go flash embryo, best touchwiz Rom I've seen to date

Can anyone confirm this? App2sd was a feature on Android 2.2, but we know that Sammy likes to mess with our heads and intentionally disabled this feature on our Note 2. Is it now enabled, by Sammy, on 4.3?
want new app2sd script for 4.3 note 2
i'm on ditto note 3 rom v3.1
move2sd feature on 4.3 rom just moves the app from internal storage to external storage but doesn't swap internal and external memory locations.
MY PROBLEM
app2sd script which worked fine in 4.1.2 not working for new 4.3 rom. im using 64gb sd card. so please can anyone find me the solution
please fix this app2sd issue
i play lot of games and it is difficult for me without swapping memory cards to use them
Honestly, I've abandoned the standard app2sd in favor of using foldermount. I've moved all my big games to my external sd card (over 10gb) and anything under 100mb I just leave on the device. I now have close to 7gb free on my phone.
The great thing about using foldermount is that after you flash a new rom, you simply remount the folders within the app and when you download the game again from the app store, it only needs to download the app, not the huge asset files which go along. Using app2sd you lose this handy trick.

Not enough internal space left

Hi,
I own the gt-n7100 and it is running with cm 10.2 nightly. Unfortunatly I cannot install any new apps or upgrade existing ones, because the phne is telling me, that there is no space left on the device. I have looked up and there are about 500mb free. So what is going on inside? App2sd does not seem to bee an option, because it is not supported by this device. What can I do to be able to install ne apps and upgrade existing ones?
Regards, Heinzelrumpel
You can use foldermount app to move data from internal sd to external sd safely on note 2.
