Recovery problem

whenever I try to boot into recovery using up volome power 4 home key the phone enters a wierd upload mode/hard reset mode.....
This problem was there before §after flashing Cwm recovery through PC Odin

when you see boot logo release those pressed keys. And wait for recovery

Thanks it worked. . I guess we can't go into recovery without shutting down the device. .
any idea what is that power reset uploading mode?

[q] can't enter recovery mode after root??

Hi guys.... please help me .. my note 2 can't enter recovery mode after successfully rooting via odin. when i push vol up power and home button for recovery mode it shows flashes then the screen goes off. for your information my note can boot and operate normally except going for recovery mode for custom rom:crying::crying::crying: it's really weird.... please help me guys.....

Flash latest recovery.
Cwm has issues.
Flash twrp 2.4.1.0

I have the same issue, can I just flash twrp without unrooting first and just flash using odin on top of my existing root.
I am not sure how a root on an existing root will work. Thanks

I have rooted N1705 and have same problem. I really would like to know what's this all about since this is my first phone with this kind of a problem. Only workaround for me was that i installed ROM Manager, updated CWM and flashed into it via the manager. The key shortcut did not work on either CWM or TWRP.

Flash the stock recovery, or PhilZ, or TWRP, your choice.

I never said you need to unroot.
Just flash the twrp file.

Can't get to recovery mode

I have rooted my n7100 note 2 and I have supersu and the apps working fine but in the root process it didn't install cmw recovery so i can't get to recovery mode every time I try ( holding volume up home and power ) it get me to the samsung GT-n7100 screen then the screen flashes and nothing happens and after a minuet or something the phone shut down what should i do

Get mobile odin app and flash cwm recovery through it

no. root access is intact. just use mobile odin to flash cwm recovery. Or try a custom kernel with cwm recovery

I am running stock rom, I flashed cwm now, it asked me "rom may flash stock recovery on boot. Fix?"

Yes - disable recovery flash
Go back
I selected yes. and now the device not booting into recovery mode and it restarts normally when I hold vol up+power+home
Should I reflash cwm and select "no" next time?

You should look for the answer before posting this question, there are so many answers to this..
Okay.. Let it be..
Nope.. Your option is right.. If you'd selected no, then there won't be cwm recovery, it will only be "stock recovery"
If you selected "yes", then it will "disable stock recovery on boot" only then, cwm recovery will be applied..
So, I think your problem is there is something wrong in flashing recovery or did you exactly turn off your phone, then press volume up + home + power, then release power button when note 2 logo appear?

emergency,,stuck in bootloop ...

friends i have sm-t211, i root it eariler with kingo, then update the system which unroot it but again i try kingo to root it but this time i stuck in bootloop .. any help any suggestion how can enter into recovery ??
how caN i fix the boot loop ??...
i am on stock rom ... this phone is new for me so,i have no related software....
i try to recovery by pressing "power+ vol. up + home" but loop start again...
