I'm fairly sure that unless you did a backup, they are gone.

Restore Data (Audio Files) without root?

Hi,
i accidentally deleted a whatsapp chat a few days ago. i have no whatsapp backups anymore from google or local on the phone cause its to late. there are already new backups created without chat.
i wanted to restore at least the whatsapp audio files. but im not rooted and whatsapp audio was stored in internal storage.
I read about some apps that can restore data or at least audio files when rooted.
now i wanted to root my device ... but it seems i have to format data... so im concerned if it all would work. even if rooted.
can you give me some advice ? should i root ? is it even possible ? or else ??
Thanks in advance.

Will deleting Whatsapp delete the media in Photos/Whatsapp folder?

Will deleting Whatsapp delete the media in Photos/Whatsapp folder?
Also wil using App Data Manager to clear data be more helpful? I want to free up some space but I dont want all the pictures to be deleted.
Has anyone done it?
If it's related to a folder within your local user storage then just simply make a backup of these photos. If it's about application data (photos within APPDATA dir) - yes, you'll lose everything by uninstalling the app.

Recover Files

Hi, I recently moved some photos from the gallery into the secure folder's gallery and from there I sent them to the recycle bin and afterwards permanently deleted them. But I didnt realized that among the photos that I erased was one that I still need.
My questions is if I can recover the files that were deleted from the secure folder without rooting. My phone is not rooted.
If there isnt another way other then first rooting the phone and then trying to recover the photo could somebody provide a link to a thread with a tutorial for begginers maybe? My phone is a SM-G960F model.
Sorry to hear that. Is there any backup file of the deleted photos? If yes, you can recover the deleted photo you want from the backup file easily. If no, the only way is asking for help from pro shop or data recovery software like Dr.fone, Coolmuster Lab.Fone for Android, Easeus MobiSaver, etc. Do remember that you need to make sure it not being overwritten by new data. And you need to root it before using such software. Of course, if the deleted photo saved on your SD card, you don't need to root your phone. Hope this will be your help.
