scripts are better..but we dont have a strong and dependable script yet that will really save battery..anyways scripts only work if the rom supports init.d i think?

as per my understanding, when a rom has init.d support it automatically runs the scripts in the init.d folder. as per my experience on creeds rom, maybe its just me, but the scripts dont run, so an alternative is install script manager and have those sscripts load on boot. on my stock rom, i ran zipalign, sdtweaks, some kernel tweaks, (from creeds rom), through script manager. and it works!!
try this one, i flashet it a minute ago, will give a response later :

i only use 4 scripts from creed rom, then 2 from zepp,
here: v6supercharger(99supercharger), 98kickasskernel, 03sdcardfix, 09zpa, 19batterfix,, wehatenornalizedsleep
open script manager. browse to /system/etc/init.d/ or to where your scripts are located. select the scipt, then a menu-like will pop tick the skull and gear icon. skull for run as root and gear for run at boot. hit save and you're good to go. reboot. go to script manager again to verify if it ran, menu, advanced, view logs, at boot. then select a script, if it is green means no error, if blue it has. select it to.view the output.
i recommended those script i mention above zpa for zipalign, sdtweak for read.ahead.kb and others for kernel tweaks.

most of it ia found on creeds rom browse to /system/etc/init.d/ and for the 99supercharger abd 98kernel just go to this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
download v6supercharger and kickasskernelizer tweak and 3gturbocharger.
ill try to add the scripts here.
edit:
i zipped it. just EXTRACT it, (DO NOT FLASH!!) anywhere put all permission then set it up at script manager.
I DO NOT OWN THESE SCRIPTS. I JUST WANT TO SHARE IT. THANKS.
im not responsible for anything if you flash this.
the 99supercharger and 98kernelizer is generated by the scripts v6 supercharger and kickasskernel respectively.
for 3g and wifi fix/boost try his 3g turbocharger.
tested on stock dxla1 and on creeds 2,0 and 2,1
i hope it helps.
i think creeds rom does not support init.d i read somewhere here a tut on how to check it and it gave me a negative answer. and the kernel.also.must support init.d so that the rom may support it too.
answer: dim the screen !

Hi,
I'm new to XDA and modding android devices. I am having problems with BulletProof Apps - V6 Supercharger RC9, if I try to bulletproof an app (com.android.mms), it disables the S99SuperCharger script on my phone during startup, thus the script won't run.
Could someone help me find a solution to have both supercharger script and bulletproof apps script working/running at startup?
TIA.

Try the stock ROM? That would essentially be breaking the thousands of problems that the custom ROMs fix to repair just one. Surely there's another way.

Try usinh build.prop rather than local.prop .

HIT N MISS Reply
Just as an update, I finally did get the Bulletproof script to work, but it seems to be more HitNMiss lately. It kinda works (although not in standby), but sometimes the device terminates the script. Am I missing something, or should I just try a different solution?

Well, I finally got the script working, but Android seems to close the script on its own. So far, it's hit n miss; has anyone else had different luck with it?
Thanks.

Its experimental. Hit or miss as described in the script. Better to not use it

Tested bulletproofing one shot but still have conflict with MinFree values. Won't bulletproof apps and you loose 25% supercharge because minfree values could not be applied.

So you're saying I should reset the MinFree Manager back to its defaults for "BulletProof" to work?

w8 at least 90 seconds after every reboot before checking via script manager

Has anyone got this working any better? I've completely hard reset and started over and wouldn't mind being able to open a program and not worry about Android cutting it off once I quit looking at it for a few seconds .

Hi. Does anyone know how to make the "Disable HW Overlays" option found on some ROMs permanently checked / persistent after reboot? I'm using JellyTime R13 on my DHD. Thanks.
I don't think that there's an option to do that. But ticking the option every boot isn't all that hard.

Agreed...but if there is a better way then I'd be very keen to learn of it.

On the JT R15 developer thread, someone has noted that it is a known issue.
I'm not sure whether they mean it is a known issue that the HW Overlay box is unchecked after reboot, or whether the graphical issues with checking Disable HW Overlays solves is an issue.
However, people are talking about it, and that pleases me.

Thanks man! i was just looking for the shell cmd but this works ! *on android 7.1.2 initd. d needed to be emulated....i dont beleive its the default "load on boot" protocol any longer but emulation via kernel auditor seems to do the trick. Doesnt matter as long as i dont have to manually set check the option. Appreciate the work.

Still works on Galaxy S5 Lineage OS 16 SmartPack kernel (oc to 2.6gHz btw) and manager. Thanks! Bookmarked this notably good post .. :good:
Works fine on a Poco M3 running A11. I've attached a basic Magisk module with titanic_fanatic's script, since that'd probably be easier to use for most people.

Does this works on CM 11 ????
Hi there guys! I'm currently using CM9 with the following tweaks/mods/kernel that you can see on my signature right now and I'm having problems with init.d not working. I hope you can help me guys! Thanks!
1. Which init.d script is not working, exactly? Only one or several? Or all of them?
2. Post here the result of:
Code:
ls -la /system/etc/init.d

The init.d should be, the ROM itself is supporting init.d ... Any more details?
I upgraded to CM9 RC3 and init.d's working fine right now. I saw on the changelog that it includes init.d scripting fixes so I guess RC2 has a faulty one.
Hi there guys! I'm having some problems again with init.d not working. It only seems to be triggered whenever I install a new custom kernel by flashing it, wiping the dalvik cache and cache then fixing the permissions. The problems is, whenever I check Seeder to see if it's working or not via Terminal Emulator. Seeder says it's off although it's set to run at every boot. The things that I've tried to fix it is by restoring the /system partition of my RC6 backup with no mods/scripts or custom kernels installed. How do I prevent it from happening again as doing all those things are time consuming.
Can anyone help me?
