[Q] run nova 3 full graphics with out C3D - LG Optimus G (International)

Can I run nova 3 full graphics without Chainfire 3d?
After I installed Chainfire 3D, stop the black screen
I also use the plug-in but it isn't work
What should I do can fix this problem?
is it has DeviceConfig.xml like asphalt7 ?

It runs by default with high graphical settings. If not, try with a custom rom and custom kernel

All nova series are compatible with adreno 320. Are we talking about original game,bought from market or hacked apps?If it's the second option,it will be ignored.

Even if is a hacked app the game will run with high graphics without chainfire 3d

Yes,but we are not allowed to talk warez.If the game appears as compatible with your device on playstore, it means you can play it without any problems. There could be one issue,if your phone has hardware problems.

No.
Nova 3 is setting the settings automatically depending on the native display resolution and SOC/GPU.
There is no way you can change it, except with Chainfire 3D and this does not work on Jelly Bean.
But Nova 3 already runs on High on the Optimus G. The only effect that is missing is depth of field.

[Q] Riptide GP 1.02 Issue on Galaxy S2

As title, i got graphic problem to run Riptide GP 1.02 on my galaxy S2. I installed ChainFire 3D 2.8 Pro, 3 plugins (NVIDIA, QUALCOMM, POWERRVR) and the custom shader for Riptide GP for galaxy s2 in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14516601&postcount=717. Below is the problem that i mean for, able to run the game but the game is in graphic in print screen attached. Can anyone help me ?

hmmm... works fine for me with chainfire (set on nvidia and thats all)
Had tried different kind of configuration but the display is still same..would it be possible because of firmware ? or different kernel ? i guess the plug in i use is same with everyone..
had this issue before,i fixed this by set the default plugin to nvidia even that i had set the per app to nvidia..
Can anyone please give the link where u got the plug-ins? Mine seems to be not working.
i got mine working.. but it need internet connection to be able to play.. cant play while offline

open cf-3d 2.8pro=>per-app openGL settings=>Riptide Gp..scroll down and tick dump shaders. then launch the game, everything should work fine now. enjoy!
make sure u selected nvidia plug-in.

[Q] Flick Golf! or Flick Games

Hi, as I checked google play "Flick Golf!" is compatible with SGY, however once I loaded the game - the screen just shows a black display with sound, I tried using chainfire 3D with PowerVR still same issue, did anyone able to run this game without any problems? If yes, please guide me on how to set it up. Thanks

Some games in google play are seen on the phone even if it isnt compatible. Take for example Temple Run Brave, Max Payne, and a lot of others.
And as for the link, WCH version has been playable on SGY ages ago (CF3D Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm, and of course phone must be rooted.), even back when 2.3.6 update wasnt even released yet.
thanks for the response, however I did try playing w/ the settings with no avail, I already exhausted chainfire3d and swapper 2, same issue, tried using a glitch by reloading screen via task manager and same result, guess we can't make it work, but its weird as it shows in google play that its compatible with our device lol - im off to send a ticket to the developer instead - MOD kindly close this thread, thanks

NFS Most Wanted, full effects?

Hey all!
Does anyone know if there is a way to enable full effects for NFS Most Wanted?
I already tried running my Nexus at 1.5Ghz but still the road reflections and blur did not come
It only gives me the basic look which has no reflections and blur effects. Just the HD textures.
Any suggestions? I already tried searching the web but I only found an APK modifier which will give full effects but it only works on tegra 3 devices
My Rockchip 3066 1.6Ghz dual core mali400MP4 tablet does have all the reflections and blur effects and it looks like a PS3 game on that! I'd like to have the same graphics on my Gnex aswell

[Q] Chainfire 3D on Xperia Play

Hey there guys
yesterday i bought chainfire 3D on my Xperia Play, it works fine, but in the section Open-GL per App i can't activate the MSAA and DEPTH Buffer because it requires a driver, but i've installed all the drivers and plugins like the QUALCOMM, NVIDIA and POWERVR. What do i have to install to get those things work?? Or it's simple because Xperia Play doesn't support?
the plugins i found by searching and of course i've installed:

For now i can play Nova 3 with full details and it runs very smooth, totally playable

Chainfire 3D drivers are the stock drivers that you need to make the app works
When installing chainfire drivers, check install EGL driver.
And two last questions Chainfire's drivers stay above the configuration of adreno booster right?? If i uninstall or install adreno booster, it won't cange anything right??
booster isnt driver, its just config. so, it will not collide with any driver.
I tried chain fire on slim bean and it caused it to get stuck on the animation

Understood man thank you so much!! But i uninstalled adreno booster just to be sure Nova 3 + Unroll texture is amazing i can run it very smoothly with DxEngine fast kernel + Gin2Jellybean rom 2.3.7 and some more other games like MC4, Dead trigger and Asphalt 7 with a modified deviceprofile.xml to get the best quality

Of course it caused stuck on animation and some other performance reduction, the app is compatible only with GB roms

End this conversation here please... Chainfire works perfectly and you wrong to try to install it on a JellyBean rom when it's only for GingerBread.
I had chainfire3d some time ago but i remember it seemed to kill a bit of performance , eh I think i did some wrong settings. You sure it doesn't affect adreno booster ? I'm on gin2jb too

well i don't think, because adreno booster isn't a driver. Chainfire 3D reduces my performance when i play Nova 3 because i use the unroll texture option xD and the overall graphics is increased a lot so in this case the performance are a little bit low but it's not unplayable, viceversa is totally playable in all enviroment that i face during the game, the quality is maxed and i love it

Yes, this app is compatible only for GB and the developer, well, i don't think he will work to make it compatible with JB and this is so sad because now i passed to JellyBean 4.1.2 from Gingerbread 2.3.7

I'm using 4.0-5954, only tried Animal Crossing so far but it runs at full speed.
Please delete. I'll look at the video and try to match my settings

That is the builder that builds new versions every time a change is pushed to master.
Just click the new one on the top of the list (#1039 at the time of writing) and there will be an APK link to the latest built version at that point.

true crime streets of la - splash screen then crash
baldurs gate - splash screen then crash
freedom fighters - wont start
ghost recon - wont start
second sight - wont start
medal of honor front line - works but at 7fps
is this normal ? bit confused as the guys video are 60fps lol

Same here, tried a ton of games at all kinds of different settings & they either won't start, crash immediately or 'run' at single digit fps?

I've used those versions. I grab latest every day to see the improvements as they come. Recomendations, well... Toy with the settings. 1 at a time. That's what I did. Super Smarh Bros played at 40-60 FPS at all sorts of different settings. Just give them a shot.

There are vast improvements with the latest versions. Only had a quick go last night with Wind Waker, its almost running at full speed now. Here's a nice little video on a channel I follow.

The fist half on the second link shows how to set it up.
Personally I set the internal resolution to 2x, enable fastmen, Enable Skip EFB access from CPU, and set EFB copy to RAM (cashed). Oh and force 16:9 aspect ratio. I leave everything else as default. That seems to work for most things and gives a good speedup. You'll get a much more details explanation of settings over on the dolphin on android forums obviously, but that should get you off to a decent start.
There has been huge improvement recently. I played through Fire Emblem Path of Radiance in its entirety on the SATV (overclock 0.5) and currently playing through FE: Radiant Dawn (overclock 0.2). For Wii games Super Mario Bros Wii and Muramasa the Demon Blade running full speed for me (and Radiant Dawn with overclock, as above). Game cube games running well include Timesplitters 2, Luigi's Mansion (although there has been aa graphical regression recently and his head is missing) and on 1x IR Mario Kart Double Dash is virtually perfect too (frame rate consistently above 55), as mentioned above Zelda WW approaching full-speed too. Performance in most games is CPU bound, so increasing to 2x IR or so doesn't hit performance in most games, so I was interested to see that Mario Kart did improve with lowering IR (someone reported that in comments in Free Emulators YouTube channel and I checked and it's the same for me also).

Arrr thats interesting, I wondered how people were running Double dash at full speed while I was stick at about 30fps. Over the weekend I played Wind Waker on the sheild, however there is a bug in the Tower of the Gods section where the lifts don't activate http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/1540/t1671502-tower-of-gods-glitch-dolphin I thought it was just me and it wasn't until I gave up and looked at a walk through that I realized it wasn't me I had to transfer back to the PC and play past that section before picking back up on the Sheild. There's something very satisfying about playing on the Sheild TV. I've had dolphin on my PC forever but hardly ever fire it up, probably because of the backlog of steam games lol. Whereas with the sheild in the bedroom its the first thing I head for. Probably because I believe the gamecude games are far better gameplay wise than native android games. I tell you what though I find those Zelda games pretty challenging puzzle wise, I can fly through most modern games but they really do have me scratching my head and I do occasionally have to reach for a walkthrough as much as I hate going so.

Yes is there a list of Sheild TV specific overclock settings somewhere? I saw a thread on the dolphin forums but it said the settings may vary by device. I haven't played around with OC settings myslef yet. Off topic it would be nice to get a custom Kernel for the TV so we could bump up the CPU clock a little

I've yet to play around with any OC settings mate that was #NZtechfreak. I just enable fastmen, Enable Skip EFB access from CPU, and set EFB copy to RAM (cashed).
I'll have a play around with the OC settings later tonight, but I believe setting to 1*IR should give you almost full speed without OC settings.

cant wait till android M is release a month or 2 months from now on this device....also the shield IS perfectly capable of running dolphin at full speed..dolphin just has to be optimized and updated.
